Rippaverse Publishing, created by Eric D. July, is launching new content! After a strong debut with Alphacore #1, they’re now taking pre-orders for Alphacore #2. This continues the series’ unique take on superheroes, mixing classic action with the feel of a police procedural.

The Story So Far: Alphacore #1

Alphacore takes place in Florespark, a vibrant but risky city. The story centers on Bryan Solari, a highly respected veteran who has dedicated his life to service, both in the military and as a police officer. When a surge of crimes committed by people with superpowers threatens the city, Solari creates a special team – the tough Braxwell and determined Ingrid Valdez – to bring things under control. Together, they are Alphacore, a unit built to face any challenge.

Florespark is one of those cities where what’s legal and what’s *right* are constantly at odds, and that’s what really makes it dangerous. It’s not just the criminals the police are after, it’s the rot that’s spread throughout the whole system. Honestly, watching things fall apart, I think the biggest question is whether this team can learn to trust each other before the whole place goes up in flames. It’s a really gripping setup!

The New Chapter: Alphacore #2

The conflict for Florespark heats up in Alphacore #2. The team is still recovering from their previous mission, and now they’re facing criticism from all sides – politicians, the press, and even their own colleagues are challenging their decisions and trustworthiness.

Now operating without official help and working in secret, Solari and his team are forced to define their roles as heroes. When a powerful and dangerous criminal appears, known as an Except, Alphacore realizes they’re fighting not just individual villains, but a flawed and corrupt system that allowed those villains to rise. The situation is incredibly dangerous, and the line between right and wrong has become blurred.

This is a story exploring themes of loyalty and justice, and the consequences when systems designed to protect people instead betray those they’re meant to serve.
