Ah, Ripple! The company that never seems to rest. In a move that could only be described as “ambitious” (and possibly a tad megalomaniacal), Ripple has announced that its acquisition of Hidden Road is officially complete. And what, pray tell, is the result? Why, Ripple Prime, of course! That’s right, Ripple is now the proud owner and operator of a global, multi-asset prime broker. Take that, traditional finance! 💼💸
But hold your horses, folks-this is just one of five major acquisitions by Ripple in the last two years. Yes, they’ve been busy little bees. Last week, the company snagged GTreasury, a treasury management system provider (because who doesn’t love a good treasure map?). Prior to that, in August 2025, they acquired Rail, a stablecoin-powered payment platform. And it doesn’t stop there: in June 2024, they scooped up Standard Custody, and last year, in May 2023, they nabbed Metaco. I don’t know about you, but I think Ripple might be trying to buy the whole blockchain buffet. 🍽️
But wait, there’s more! Ripple’s digital asset infrastructure-which spans payments, crypto custody, stablecoin services, and a healthy dose of XRP-will, in theory, complement the offerings within Ripple Prime. Apparently, Ripple plans to “leverage blockchain capabilities” (don’t ask me how, it’s all very techie) to streamline operations and optimize costs. The pièce de résistance? Ripple’s stablecoin, RLUSD, will be seeing some major love. It’s already being securely watched over by The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation (BNY). Talk about fancy babysitters! 🏦
@Ripple is gradually consolidating the entire digital asset ecosystem.
Every acquisition, corridor, and off-ramp is part of one plan, to build the Internet for Value.
This is how the financial system is being rewritten, and how XRP will eventually touch everything in it.

Now, in the midst of all this frenzy, Black Swan Capitalist founder, the ever-cryptic Versan Aljarrah, had this to say: Ripple is “gradually consolidating the entire digital asset ecosystem.” Oh, and it gets better. Every acquisition, every corridor, every off-ramp, all part of one grand design-an elaborate scheme to build the “Internet for Value.” Sounds like the sort of thing you’d hear in a Bond villain’s monologue, right? 😎
Aljarrah went on to say, with an air of mystical certainty, that this is “how the financial system is being rewritten” and that XRP will eventually “touch everything in it.” So, basically, XRP is going to become the currency equivalent of that guy at the party who knows everyone. Small world, huh?
XRP Gets a Boost From Retail FUD (Because Why Not?)
Now, in a rather cheeky twist, XRP is currently up by a modest 2.58% in the last 24 hours, trading at a snazzy $2.64. However, it’s down a rather more substantial 11.36% on a weekly basis. But who cares about that? XRP is beating the rest of the top 10 in both daily and weekly gains. Go, XRP! 🚀
According to Santiment, a particularly sage source of crypto wisdom, XRP’s latest boost is courtesy of some good ol’ retail FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt). Apparently, despite small wallets selling off, the crowd is still all in. Santiment mused, “XRP is at $2.60 after a 4% day. We’ve seen some retail FUD across social media, indicating small wallets are selling off. During this $2-$3 price stretch, high crowd predictions of $XRP under $2 is a buy signal, and above $3 is a sell signal.” Very clear, right? 😅
As of now, XRP has extended its recovery from a low of $2.32 on October 22nd and has enjoyed a four-day rally, reaching an intraday high of $2.66. The next level of resistance? A modest $2.77. But the real fun begins when support levels at $2.32 and $2.18 come into play. 🎢
