RoadCraft’s Rebuild Expansion is Out Now With New Content, Free Update Brings Harder Difficulty

The gaming company Saber Interactive has launched the initial significant expansion pack for their game centered around post-disaster reconstruction, known as RoadCraft. Named the “Rebuild Expansion“, this additional content is now accessible across all platforms and introduces numerous new elements to the game. To mark the arrival of the “Rebuild Expansion”, the studio shared a fresh trailer, which can be viewed below.

The “RoadCraft: Rebuild Expansion” offers an abundance of fresh content such as two European-themed maps called “Contamination” and “Wash-Out”, five brand new vehicles to explore, and a whopping 100 missions for players to conquer. At a cost of $14.99 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S consoles, this DLC expansion promises an exciting new adventure!

In the game, The Contamination Map focuses on players assisting in the cleanup of hazardous chemical waste that resulted from severe earthquakes in the region. Conversely, Wash-Out involves players aiding in the reactivation of a vast oil processing facility situated within a revitalized wasteland. Among the new vehicles included in the DLC are the Bridge Layer and updated versions of the Scout.

In addition to the fresh content added in the game expansion, RoadCraft has also received a complimentary update loaded with additional free content and enhancements. This updated version introduces new vehicles such as the Fuel Truck variant Wayfarer ST7050, as well as an advanced difficulty mode that provides players more flexibility to customize the level of challenge they encounter in RoadCraft according to their preferences.

In the spirit of games such as SnowRunner, higher difficulty levels introduce tougher fuel management tasks, harsher weather conditions for transportation missions, and stricter recovery guidelines. To reflect these increased challenges, modifications have been made to the game’s costs and economy, emphasizing realism and offering a more demanding experience.

As a passionate gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that RoadCraft dropped on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S back in May. If you’re curious about this game, our review provides all the juicy details! Since its launch, the dedicated team at Saber Interactive has been hard at work on other exciting titles too. Most recently, they’ve announced two new ones: Docked and Road Kings. Can’t wait to dive into these!

As a fervent enthusiast, I’m thrilled about the upcoming game, “Docked.” In this immersive experience, I step into the shoes of an heir, inheriting a dilapidated dock from my father. The narrative focus is what truly captivates me as I embark on a journey to revitalize the finances and overall condition of Port Wake.

The game delivers the charm of heavy machinery operation that’s characteristic of its genre, but what sets it apart is its emphasis on management aspects. I’ll be tasked with taking on jobs, making strategic decisions, and generating profits to ensure our dock thrives. Over time, the ultimate goal is to expand Port Wake by constructing upgrades, breathing new life into this once-thriving harbor.

The game titled “Road Kings” appears to offer a more open-ended experience, similar to a truck driving simulator like American Truck Simulator. Yet, it seems this game will also incorporate its own narrative, where the player starts as a novice driver and gradually climbs up the ladder, eventually becoming the proprietor of their very own trucking company.
