Robert Kirkman, the celebrated creator of *The Walking Dead* and *Invincible* (with Season 4 of the latter coming in 2026), has launched another exciting project. This new venture is already taking off with incredible momentum, comparable to the explosive energy of Starscream taking flight.
The popular *Transformers* comic series has become even more successful thanks to a collaboration between Kirkman, Skybound, Image Comics, IP, and Hasbro. Demand for *Transformers #25* is so high that a second printing is being released, and it’s likely to become a valuable collectible.
The second printing of *Transformers #25* will feature four brand-new covers by Jason Howard, each highlighting a different character – Bulkhead, Miles Mayhem, Bonecrusher, and Mirage – as they battle in the Energon War. These special editions will arrive in comic shops on November 12, 2025.
Robert Kirkman was thrilled with the positive response to this issue, saying, “The audience was clearly excited! I even made a pun in a press release!” He was surprised and delighted that orders more than doubled for their 25th issue, requiring multiple printings to keep up with demand. “I’m completely astonished!” he exclaimed.

Ben Abernathy, executive editor, also celebrated the huge success of *Transformers #25*, echoing Robert Kirkman’s excitement.
