Robert Patrick Addresses The Schwarzenegger or Stallone Debate: “That’s A Dangerous Question” (Exclusive)

Robert Patrick, known for his role in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, recently had a surprising and heartwarming moment when his Peacemaker character returned in season two as a version fighting against Nazis. However, the most rewarding part is seeing Patrick consistently working over 30 years after becoming famous as the T-1000. He clearly chooses his projects carefully, appearing in popular shows like The Night Agent, Reacher, and Peacemaker, and always seems genuinely excited about his work.

Patrick recently talked with Chris Killian from ComicBook after the finale of Tulsa King, another high-quality show where he’s made a strong impression. He clearly expressed how thankful he is for his career. Tulsa King stars Sylvester Stallone, and a previously reported disagreement surrounding the show has been resolved. We asked Patrick to explain the main differences he’s noticed when working with Stallone compared to his Terminator co-star, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

That’s a tricky question! They’re both very talented, but it’s hard to compare them directly. Both are great guys. Sylvester Stallone is more than just an actor though – he’s also a writer, painter, and director, which really sets him apart creatively.

I’m trying to be careful here. Arnold is, well, Arnold – a really good person. And Sly is incredibly creative, much more than just an action star. I don’t want to offend either of them, because I genuinely like them both a lot.

Robert Patrick Confirms What Unites & Sets Schwarzenegger & Stallone Apart

Patrick also pointed out that the two actors, who used to be rivals, are now friends. He then highlighted the biggest things they had in common when it came to working with them, emphasizing a positive outlook.

What really stands out about both of them is their charisma – they have a lot of it. They’re also both incredibly confident, and rightfully so. I think that’s a big part of why they’ve become who they are. It’s well known they haven’t always been close friends, though.

Both Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger are fantastic people. I’ve collaborated with Sly three times and have immense respect for his talent and character. I also have a lot of respect for Arnold – he’s a genuinely good person.

As a film buff, I’ve always found the connection between Patrick Stewart and Arnold Schwarzenegger fascinating. They’re both such pros, and it’s clear they’d need a lot of tact to reach the top and stay there – even if they took time off! Officially, they’ve only shared the screen in two films, which is a fun fact in itself. But here’s where it gets really cool: Patrick actually played the T-1000 in both! First in the iconic Terminator 2: Judgment Day back in ’91, and then in a really clever cameo in Last Action Hero just two years later. It’s a delightfully meta moment for any movie fan!
