In an interview with GQ, Robert Pattinson shared that he did a lot of physical training for The Batman, even though some people criticized his physique. He’s now equipped a home gym to prepare for future roles.
Pattinson explained that people were surprised by his physique, saying, “They all said I hadn’t worked out at all.” He clarified that he actually worked out every single day, even going so far as to exercise twice a day, sometimes as early as three in the morning, but still didn’t appear to have made much progress.
Pattinson explained that the criticism he received about his physical appearance for the superhero role stemmed from a previous interview where he joked about not liking to exercise. He admitted he’d made the comment simply to appear cool.
“I’m like, it’s just because I said it in an interview,” he said. “I was trying to sound cool!”
Pattinson’s Physical Conditioning May Just Come In Handy For The Batman Part II
Robert Pattinson is already training hard to get in shape for his return as Batman and Bruce Wayne in the next movie. He also mentioned that this preparation will be useful because of the demanding filming schedule. A stunt performer told him they’re planning 11 weeks of night shoots.

What Do We Know About The Batman Part II?
Robert Pattinson recently mentioned the film’s shooting schedule and his home gym, giving fans a small peek at the upcoming Batman sequel. Director Matt Reeves has also shared glimpses online, including a winter setting and details about the cast – Scarlett Johansson will play Gilda Dent and Sebastian Stan will return as Harvey Dent. Though the main villain hasn’t been confirmed, many believe Harvey Dent will become Two-Face in the new film, and evidence is mounting to support that theory.
The possibility of Two-Face being the villain in the next Batman movie is exciting.
