Warning: The Emmerdale episode airing on the 25th of June, now streaming on ITVX, may contain plot revelations.
In the upcoming episode on June 25th, 2025, we’ll find out what happens to Robert Sugden (played by Ryan Hawley) as he was drugged by a date and subsequently kidnapped by his mysterious half-brother John (Oliver Farnworth).
John placed an unresponsive Robert into his vehicle and increased the volume on the radio as he departed, causing us to ponder if Robert might be John’s next victim.
As the ITV soap continues, John has pulled over and is seen peering at Robert’s lifeless form.
I gather my supplies, ready myself for the next step, when suddenly, Robert stirs to consciousness, completely unaware of how he found himself in this situation.

The question is, will Robert rumble John?
As a devoted movie buff, I can’t help but notice the intriguing dynamic between the enigmatic doctor and the heartwarming couple, Aaron Dingle (played by Danny Miller) and his character’s mysterious love interest, Robert. It seems that this elusive medic is not just fond of donning the hero’s cape; in this particular storyline, he appears to be rather distraught about the presence of Robert in Aaron’s life.
You can visit ITVX now for all the details, or you can tune in to the episode at 7:30pm on ITV1.
Just as anticipated, Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) will find herself caught up in the turmoil of recent events, leading to an unusual and quite surprising conclusion.
Everyone will be closely watching Robert during his recovery process, and there will likely be many fans imploring him to expose John’s numerous wrongdoings.
As John’s gradual rise and eventual fall seems imminent, there’s no denying that Robert’s arrival has undeniably revitalized the once dormant village.
But have John’s latest actions sparked any suspicion among the, so far, gullible villagers?
