The remastered version of “Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song” will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch on December 9. Red Art Games, in partnership with Square Enix, made this announcement. This new edition, titled “Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered International,” is a separate purchase from the original release and includes localizations in English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the physical version of our game is coming to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, both in North America and Europe! For those playing on PlayStation in Europe, there’s also an option for PlayStation 4. The standard edition will be widely available across various retailers when we launch, but if you’re looking for something more exclusive, the limited and collector’s editions can only be found at Video Games Plus (in North America) and RedArtGames.com (in Europe). Originally, the first creator, Marda, birthed the land of Mardias. Originally titled “Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song,” this game was a pioneer in the SaGa series with its distinctive features like Glimmer and Combo mechanics, earning it the title as the epitome of the series upon release. At its heart, the game’s unique free scenario system allows players to craft their own storyline by choosing from eight different protagonists, each with distinct origins and backgrounds, and embarking on a tailored adventure. The remastered version has seen improvements across the board, including enhanced high-definition graphics and numerous adjustments to boost gameplay experience. For the very first time, the game will be fully playable in French, German, Italian, and Spanish, making it an ideal choice for both longtime fans of the original and newcomers to the SaGa series.
