On Thursday night, Romeo Beckham displayed a fresh tattoo while exiting the luxurious Twenty Two Hotel in London.
As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but notice that, much like my hero Sir David Beckham at 50, the Beckham sons have made quite an impression with their tattoo artistry.
The ex-Manchester United player and his oldest son, who is 26 years old, amassed close to 200 combined, with Romeo, aged 22, also accumulating an impressive collection of his own.
Recently, he returned for a visit to the artist known as Certified Letter Boy, who has inked several members of the Beckham family throughout the years. During this trip, he got a new addition – a fairy – added to the mosaic of tattoos on his left arm.
The artwork created with ink could be seen clearly as the subject stepped out from the Twenty-Two Hotel, located in Mayfair, on a Thursday evening. This hotel is known for its high-end prices, usually exceeding £1,000 per night.
For the excursion, he opted for a laid-back style, sporting a grey tracksuit matched with a short-sleeved T-shirt that showcased numerous tattoos on his arms, being the famous figure he is.

Romeo recently stopped by the tattoo shop at the beginning of the new year, getting a cherub with wings added to his ankle.
In simpler terms, during their vacation in Turks and Caicos, he flaunted his tattoo while he was with his partner Kim Turnbull, aged 24. Interestingly, she got tattoos of the numbers ’62’ and ’75’ on her arms as they both visited a tattoo parlor together.
After being together for seven months, the pair decided to end their relationship recently, as the connection between them seemed to dwindle.
Kim remained steadfast by Romeo’s side during the disagreement that occurred between Brooklyn and David earlier this year.
26-year-old aspiring chef and his wife, Nicola Peltz (aged 30), initially fueled speculation about a disagreement when they didn’t show up at Sir David’s glamorous 50th birthday event held in west London.
In my perspective, I found myself deeply affected by the estrangement, feeling a sense of heartache that comes from witnessing a significant bond fray. Now, it appears that Brooklyn has embraced the role of the devoted partner, one who goes above and beyond to support and care for his loved one – aptly referred to as the ‘spouse guy’.
Brooklyn’s strained relationship with his family appears to have impacted his tattoo artistry, as he recently concealed a tattoo on his chest that reads “mama’s boy,” which he himself refers to as an avid tattoo enthusiast.
Last year, a cluster of blossoms was added as an overlay to his tiny two-word tattoo, possibly a new tribute to his spouse Nicola. He currently sports over 70 tattoos dedicated to her.

As a devoted admirer, I’ve immortalized my adoration for the enchanting Nicola. On my bicep, there’s a captivating portrait of her that never fails to stir my heart. The nape of my neck bears her mesmerizing eyes, and her name is inked onto me as a testament to our unspoken bond.
Brooklyn also bears both their names, as he adopted her last name following their marriage.
While Romeo draws significant influence for his artwork from his father’s craftsmanship.
The 22-year-old has numerous tattoos that share an ethereal and spiritual theme. On one arm, there’s a large stone angel statue depicted as if it’s carved into his forearm, while on the other arm, two cherubs seem to be riding on some mystical creature.
Additionally, he sports a tattoo of a Jesus cross adorned with angel wings at the back of his neck, a design that seems to have been influenced by his father, who carries an identical inkwork in the same location.
Romeo once more imitated soccer star David by having a quote that David also has tattooed on his upper arm, which comes from the book of American pastor Joel Osteen.
‘I affirm that I possess the necessary grace for today. I am brimming with power, resilience, and determination. No matter what comes my way, I will handle it successfully. I will conquer every hurdle, endure every trial, and emerge from each hardship stronger than before. This is my affirmation.’

Romeo also sports some additional ink: A big dove graces his wrist accompanied by the phrase ‘Guide with Love’; Across his ribs, you’ll find the message ‘Freedom to Dream’. Lastly, there’s a majestic lion and an eagle on display as well.
Sir David got his first tattoos in 1999, having spent the initial years of his Manchester United career without any ink on his body.
He didn’t develop the interest until the end of that particular decade, with reports suggesting that he was motivated by the marriage between Spice Girl Mel B and Jimmy Gulzar at that time.
In 1999, he created his initial piece of art which celebrated the birth of his son, Brooklyn. David decided to permanently etch his son’s name onto his lower back using a traditional Gothic font for the tattoo.
Afterward, a burst of artistic work ensued; it was about a year later when David returned to the art studio for his legendary guardian angel tattoo to be inked on the back of his neck.
The notion behind the angel suggested that the protector might be keeping an eye on Brooklyn’s name, positioned lower along the star’s length.

That very same year, David committed to his wife Victoria by getting a tattoo of her name written in Hindi characters; however, it was later discovered that the tribute, regrettably, translated as ‘Vihctoria’ instead.
Following the arrival of their second child named Romeo in 2002, David made an adjustment to the guardian angel figure he previously had, giving it more striking wings and a new title bearing his son’s name.
A short while following his acquisition of Inter Miami, its owner decided to have the number 7, a number he donned at Manchester United, inscribed as Roman numerals onto his inner forearm.
In the year 2003, he had two phrases tattooed on his arms in Latin. The phrase on his left inner arm reads ‘So that I may love and hold dear’, while the one on his right arm says ‘Toward spiritual perfection’.
Later, he marked his transfer to Real Madrid by arranging a meeting with his tattoo artist, Louis Malloy, to get a cross inked on his back as a commemoration.

Lately, David has shifted focus from creating pieces on his limbs to working on his body, such as a spiritual scene showing Jesus being borne by three cherubs, which are thought to symbolize him and his three sons.
Apart from that, there’s a depiction of a woman amidst a forest on the right side of his torso, and he inserted an illustration of Jesus beneath his abdomen in the year 2010.
The image is derived from a work titled “The Man of Sorrows,” painted by the Catholic artist Matthew R. Brooks. It’s thought to be an additional homage to his late grandfather, Joe, who passed away at the age of 83 the previous year.
As a devoted admirer, I’d like to share the heartfelt sentiments of this renowned figure. He expresses that each design he selects is an embodiment of significant individuals from his life, those he yearns to carry with him forever.
