Romeo Is a Dead Man, the upcoming game from Suda51’s studio Grasshopper Manufacture, is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing titles on the way.
During a recent State of Play presentation, the game’s release date was revealed, and it’s coming much sooner than expected! Players can look forward to it launching on February 11th, 2026.
You are Romeo, a man who cheated death and was reborn as a special agent tasked with hunting down the most dangerous criminals in the universe.
It’s a bonkers premise, but with such stylish presentation, it’s easy to forgive.

This game delivers intense, violent combat with a mix of close-quarters fighting and shooting – exactly what you’d expect from the creators of No More Heroes and Shadows of the Damned.
Here’s what Suda51 has to say about the release date:
Okay, so we totally beat the release date of that other game that kept getting pushed to 2026! Now we can finally say we never planned to launch in May anyway. We’re working hard, basically bending over backwards, to polish up ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN and get it out to you all next February. It’s gonna be worth the wait!
The game is coming out very soon, and it promises to be a lot of fun!
