Rosé Brings the Drama in Sweeping Grammys 2026 Look

Raise a glass to Rosé‘s style.

The Blackpink singer looked incredibly elegant at the 2026 Grammy Awards. She wore a custom Giambattista Valli Couture gown with Le Silla shoes on the red carpet at the February 1st show in Los Angeles.

The first-time nominee, with styling by Law Roach, is expected to have a major night, as she’s performing at the Crypto.com Arena. She’s also nominated for three awards – Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance – for her collaboration with Bruno Mars, “Apt.” Billboard reports this makes her the first K-pop artist to be nominated in one of the Grammys’ six main categories.

Rosé was surprised to learn about her Grammy nomination. She explained that she’d just returned home from an evening out in Seoul when the nominations were announced around 12:50 a.m. She was actually brushing her teeth at the time!

It was the result of a long journey, guided by her mentor, Bruno, who she credits with providing vital support when she needed it most.

Rosé remembered “hustling information” out of him during their first meeting in 2024.

Honestly, when I finally met her, I was a total wreck! I kept thinking, ‘This could be my only chance, ever!’ It felt like a now-or-never situation, so I was desperately trying to soak up every single piece of advice, every little thing she was willing to share. I needed to learn everything I could, because in my head, it was our first and last meeting, forever. It was just…intense, you know?

Bruno Mars remembers hearing the initial concept for “Apt.” differently.

He initially thought the collaboration would center around drinking, saying, ‘I was surprised when I found out what it was really about.’ But what truly drew him in was Rosie’s unique voice and a captivating lyrical hook she presented. After discussing it with her, they decided to develop the idea further, seeing it as a creative challenge to solve. He appreciated that she shared something deeply rooted in her culture, rather than a typical love song, and felt she’d given him a valuable insight into her world.

For Rosé, the success of “Apt.” tops off an incredible year of major milestones.

She reflected on the past year in an Instagram post, describing it as a mix of joyful and challenging moments. As the year ended, she felt proud of how she navigated it all and grateful for staying true to herself. She acknowledged learning valuable lessons from both the good times and the bad, but ultimately remaining unchanged at her core.
