In the game Donkey Kong Bananza’s Racing Layer, you’ll find an intense competition called The Rowdy Race, issued by characters Diddy and Dixie. This race is a tougher variant of their usual run. Rest assured, they won’t hold back in trying to outpace you, making it quite the challenge! However, we have a clever tactic that will make winning effortless – and that’s exactly what we’ll help you master with this guide!
Rowdy Race Guide for Diddy & Dixie Race | Donkey Kong Bananza
Immediately after the race commences, Diddy and Dixie will take the lead, flipping a terrain switch ahead of you. In response, head left and mine as much of the “Liftoff Ore” as you can in that area. Your objective is to accumulate Liftoff Ore without worrying about catching up to Diddy and Dixie just yet. Instead, concentrate on the Liftoff Ore and be mindful of the mud.
As you approach the end of the track, you’ll find a tunnel nearby. Keep an eye out for a vibrant rainbow-colored ramp to your left when you get there. That’s your cue to make a slight shortcut when you spot it!
Once you spot the ramp ahead, begin turning left and leverage your Liftoff for an exit from the circuit. If your Liftoff meter is fully charged, you’ll essentially create a sort of shortcut over the circuit’s gap, landing you back near the finish line. It might take some practice to master it at first, but with a full Liftoff gauge, it can be achieved.
What remains for you now is to carry on with the last two laps as usual, but remember the path you previously bypassed to jump ahead significantly on the track. This will make it simpler for you to outmaneuver Diddy and Dixie since they don’t seem to be utilizing your shortcut.
Be sure to gather as much Liftoff Ore as possible on laps 2 and 3, since having a fuller Liftoff meter can assist in adjusting your path and preventing getting stuck in the mud if necessary.
Regardless, To effortlessly conquer the Rowdy Race against Diddy and Dixie in Donkey Kong Bananza, follow these steps. If you need additional assistance with this game, we have a guide for the Snake Bananza: Charged Climb challenge as well.
