Gotcha Gotcha Games just dropped a short preview trailer for the next installment of RPG Maker, the popular software used to create role-playing games.
The preview highlights how the series’ classic 2D role-playing game look is being updated with a modern “HD-2D” style, similar to games such as Octopath Traveler, and the HD-2D remakes of Dragon Quest I & II and Dragon Quest III.
Twitter accounts for the new project were also launched in English and Japanese.
