RUINER 2 announced for PC

Reikon Games is making a sequel to their 2017 action RPG, RUINER, called RUINER 2. This new game will feature cooperative gameplay and will be released on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. The developers haven’t announced a specific release date yet.

Rengkok: The Concrete Purgatory

Welcome back to Rengkok, a place where corporations control every aspect of your life, even your death – they literally own the rights to it. You’re stuck in a system where dying is considered a violation of your agreement. This system is built to keep you alive, working, and in pain. Freedom isn’t offered here; you have to fight for it. If you want to escape this terrible existence, you’ll need to force the world to release you.

Welcome Back, Puppies

In Shell System, you control a team of up to three different combat bodies and can switch between them on the fly, adapting to any situation. Instead of being limited to one character class for the entire game, you build a versatile team. Each body feels unique – with its own playstyle, special powers, and role in combat. Importantly, you don’t unlock these bodies through menus; you earn them by defeating the powerful bosses that pursue you.

Killer Collaborations

Battles in Rengkok are fast-paced and require quick thinking – your reactions will help you survive, and smart strategy will help you win. Knowing when to switch characters and combine their abilities is key. Powerful combinations are what allow you to go from simply surviving to truly dominating – link skills across your characters to create powerful attack sequences that get stronger with each switch. These rules apply whether you’re playing alone or with a team of up to three players. The more characters you control, the more powerful combinations you can create, and the higher the stakes become. Be the hunter, or become the hunted.

New Toys

Deep within the industrial city of Rengkok, finding and using salvaged technology is essential for staying alive, but it’s a dangerous game. You equip your robotic Shells with weapons, armor, and internal upgrades, but each addition drains their limited power. There’s no room for extras – you always have to make difficult choices. Improving your gear through crafting offers better rewards, but also increases the risks. Crafting can even change your gear in unexpected ways, so how much you push your luck is up to you.

To thrive in a dangerous world, you need to adapt and improve, and your abilities are proof of that ongoing development.

Each Shell you unlock offers a unique and extensive way to customize its abilities. You’ll develop four skills, and each one has multiple options that change how it works, not just its power. The more you progress, the more your Shell will deviate from typical builds. By truly mastering these paths and combining different Shells effectively, you’ll move beyond simply following guides and start creating your own.

Once you find the ideal strategy and begin executing impressive attack sequences, it won’t just be satisfying – it will feel deeply rewarding and uniquely your own.
