The actress from Sorority Row talked about the difficulties of raising her two-year-old daughter, Louetta Willis, on her own, as she and her ex-partner, Derek Thomas, are no longer together.

You know, motherhood is incredible, but let’s be real – it’s also hard. I recently found myself needing a good cry in the woods, and it reminded me that being a single mom comes with unique challenges. My daughter is the easiest part of my life – she’s amazing! – but sometimes the sheer weight of doing it all on your own can be overwhelming. It’s okay to admit those days happen, and it’s okay to take a moment to just feel.

Even with some difficult times, Rumer, age 37, seemed hopeful about what’s ahead. She’s consistently prioritized being there for her daughter since her split from Derek last August, and she’s continuing to focus on that. She ended the video with a smile and a thumbs-up.
