LEGO fans may have noticed that the company has been creating detailed sets based on popular video games.
Most gaming LEGO sets have been based on Nintendo games, though there have been a few Horizon sets released as well.
So, I was checking out some LEGO leaks, and apparently they’re making a PlayStation 1 set! It’s supposed to come with at least one controller, which is awesome. I’m really excited about this one!
A user known for sharing LEGO news, @lego_minecraft_goat on Instagram, says LEGO is planning to release a set based on the original PlayStation console.
The listing reveals the set’s product code, contains 1,911 pieces, and is expected to be released around December 2026. It will likely cost €159.99 or $159.99, a price similar to other LEGO sets of comparable size.
It’s hard to say how reliable this source is, but their past leaks have sometimes been correct.
With LEGO increasingly focused on gaming and the recent success of their Game Boy set, a LEGO PlayStation set seems likely to be released for the holidays.
