Rumour: Starfield PS5 Release Date Is Set for 7th April

It’s widely expected that Starfield will eventually come to the PS5, and a new leak suggests a potential release date. According to retail leaker Graczdari, the game could be available on PS5 by April 7th, 2026.

A recent leak suggests Starfield could come to PlayStation 5 on a specific date, with both standard and premium editions available. It’s worth noting this comes from the same source who previously (and incorrectly) predicted Rockstar wouldn’t release a physical copy of GTA 6 at launch. However, this source has been reliable when reporting on Microsoft-related news in the past.

Sources accurately confirmed that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is coming to PS5, and they also reportedly revealed some initial details about a physical release of Oblivion Remastered.

For the past two years, there’s been a lot of talk about Starfield potentially coming to the PlayStation 5, with many predicting its release alongside a major update. Bethesda is already planning another expansion for the game, so a ‘complete edition’ including the PS5 version seems likely. A recent leak from Poland suggests this could happen on April 7th, 2026.

There’s talk that Sony will be holding a State of Play event this month, and we might finally get confirmation about a PS5 version of the game during it.

Starfield, a major space RPG released on Xbox Series X|S and PC in September 2023, hasn’t quite lived up to expectations for Microsoft. While it has received one expansion pack, ‘Shattered Space,’ another is in development, along with a significant update planned for the future.
