Russell Wilson is changing it up for his next big play.
The NFL quarterback is joining CBS Sports as an analyst for their pregame show on Sundays this football season, according to ESPN and the NFL.
Russell Wilson, though not yet officially retired from the NFL, is expected to join the CBS broadcast team, replacing Matt Ryan. He’ll work alongside James Brown, Nate Burleson, and Bill Cowher as Ryan returns to the Atlanta Falcons to become their president of football operations.
The 37-year-old quarterback had been offered a backup position with the New York Jets, supporting starter Geno Smith. He met with the team last month to discuss potentially joining them after a season with the New York Giants.
After visiting with the team on May 6th, Wilson told the New York Post he’d received an offer. He’s now considering his options, weighing a return to playing football at a high level against the possibility of a career in television. “I’m trying to figure out what the next best thing is for me to do,” he said.
Russell Wilson, who shares 9-year-old Sienna, 5-year-old Win, and 2-year-old Amora with his wife, Ciara, and is also a stepfather to Ciara’s 11-year-old son, Future Zahir (from a previous relationship), also hinted at a new job in broadcasting.
He mentioned there are many good teams and expressed his enthusiasm about the potential opportunities available to him. While he didn’t reveal specifics, he shared that he’s excited and has a deep love for the game, staying prepared to play whenever possible.

The 11-year-old told TopMob News in March that they enjoyed visiting with their dad and would love to go back sometime. They described it as a great experience for both of them.
Wilson was pleased with Future Zahir’s enthusiasm and believes he’ll be successful no matter what he decides to do.

Honestly, what’s amazing to me about sports now is how young these athletes are getting noticed! It’s incredible. To be able to take my kid to a school he’s always dreamed of playing at? It’s just…wow. He’s seriously gifted, you guys. Not just in one sport either – basketball, football, baseball, he excels at everything! It’s unbelievable to watch.

Kate Gosselin, known from the show Jon & Kate Plus 8, has complained about spending a lot of her money on legal fees during her divorce from Jon Gosselin. However, it seems she’s been happy to go back to working as a nurse.
In an August 2025 TikTok, Kate, a registered nurse working in pediatric home health, explained her experience with a current patient family. She shared that the patients are already familiar with her – they know her name and a bit about her background – so she feels comfortable and known when she enters their home. She believes they likely recognize her before she even arrives.
What she knows, though, is that helping others is quite fulfilling.
Kate added that the job has been incredibly fulfilling and enjoyable. She explained that it allows families with a child needing significant medical care to have time with their other children and pursue other aspects of their lives.

Drew Barrymore has always been a dedicated worker. While she now hosts The Drew Barrymore Show, she had to work hard to support herself at a young age. When she became emancipated from her mother, Jaid Barrymore, at just 14, she immediately took on jobs to cover her expenses.
The actress explained in her 2015 memoir, Wildflower, that she needed a job near her and her friend’s rental home. Her friend worked at a coffee shop in the area, and the actress didn’t have a driver’s license at the time, so she couldn’t commute far.
She described the early 1990s as a time when coffeehouses were the popular gathering spots, recalling her time working at a trendy L.A. cafe called the Living Room where people would spill out onto the street every night. However, she admitted she wasn’t very good at her job, or much of anything else, at the time, having mostly focused on acting and living a somewhat chaotic life.
She served up the tea on one tense experience in her book.
My boss, who had surprisingly hired me because I was a former child actor, was understanding of my mistakes, but also clearly frustrated. I remember he came in while I was washing dishes and snapped at me, ‘Don’t use the scrubbing side of the brush! You’re scratching the pastry cases and making them cloudy, so people can’t see what’s inside!’

Around the same time my acting work began to decrease in my early 20s, I started working with a financial company at age 25. I’ve been there ever since, and have since moved into a management role. It’s been a great career path for me, as I shared in a 2021 interview with TopMob.

In a 2022 interview with TopMob News, Snyder confessed he was actually relieved when the show ended. He explained, ‘It felt like a fresh start heading into high school, and I was ready to see what came next.’
These days, Snyder works in real estate in Los Angeles, but people still sometimes mention his time as a child actor.
He explained he hopes people choose to work with him because of his skills and experience. He enjoys it when clients recognize him from other work – he’s had people realize who he is mid-house-hunt – but he wants to be valued for his professionalism, not just his public profile. Knowing clients chose him for his expertise, not just his recognition, is what truly matters to him.
