Now, 1M Bits Horde and META Publishing have finally announced the Early Access release date for Nested Lands.

Okay, so I’m really excited to say that Nested Lands is almost here! We’re launching into Early Access this month with all the main gameplay stuff finished. Honestly, we pushed the release back a little bit – about a month – just to make sure everything felt really good. That extra time let us polish the core mechanics so you guys can jump in and enjoy both playing by yourselves or teaming up with friends in a medieval town that’s dealing with a serious Black Plague outbreak. It’s gonna be a challenging survival experience!

So, the devs are saying the game will be in Early Access for around six months, and they’ve already laid out a really detailed plan of all the cool stuff they’re planning to add during that time. But before we get into all that future content, let me give you a quick rundown of what you can expect from Nested Lands when it launches on February 25th.

Nested Lands doesn’t shy away from the dark and often funny realities of life in medieval times during the Black Death. The game offers everything players expect from a settlement-building survival title – you’ll be able to craft items, develop skills, and manage your community. Plus, you’ll have to fight enemies affected by the plague!

In Nested Lands, you’ll grow a settlement by recruiting and managing villagers. You can play alone or with friends in co-op, but either way, you’ll need to ensure your village has enough supplies and people to thrive. Your decisions will shape your reputation and determine the fate of your civilization.

When Nested Lands launches into Early Access, all the core features will be ready. However, we’ll be adding a lot more content through a series of major updates. Our plan includes five big additions, starting with Animal Husbandry and Fishing. We’re also working on an update to expand the Main Story with a new area to explore, and an Expeditions Update that will introduce a completely new gameplay feature. Plus, we’ll be continuously improving the game based on your feedback, fixing bugs and making things even better.

It looks like Nested Lands is going to be a big hit for players who enjoy challenging survival games with horror and violent elements.
