
Ryan Lochte is embracing his next chapter.
Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte has moved in with his girlfriend, Molly Gilliham, about ten months after his wife, Kayla Lochte, filed for divorce.
Ryan, age 41, announced on Instagram on January 14th that he and Molly had moved into their new home. The post featured a photo of the couple relaxing in matching sweatsuits in their living room, with Ryan captioning it “Home Sweet Home” and adding the hashtag “move in day.”
Ryan, who shares 8-year-old Caiden, 6-year-old Liv, and 2-year-old Georgia with Kayla, was very excited about his new home. He’ll be living there with his children, as well as Molly and her three kids.
The star of What Would Ryan Lochte Do? recently shared that he’s found love with someone who shares his values and also has three children. He explained in an interview with People that they now have a blended family of six children. He described his partner as his best friend and said their children have become very close, making the decision to live together feel natural and right for everyone.
Ryan thinks living with Molly and her children will bring their family closer together.
We wanted a larger house to accommodate our combined family, and our priority is to build a warm and secure home for all of the kids, he explained.
Ryan and Molly, who confirmed their relationship on Instagram in July, recently gave fans a glimpse of their blended family enjoying time together. He shared a photo of them roasting marshmallows while celebrating New Year’s Eve.
He shared a New Year’s message with a photo carousel, including a selfie with Molly, writing, “What a great way to end 2025 and begin 2026!” He also wished everyone a happy New Year and expressed hope for an amazing 2026 for all, tagging Molly and mentioning their children.
Since getting divorced, both Kayla and Ryan have been open about how difficult the breakup has been. Recently, Kayla posted a video on Instagram of Ryan repeating his wedding vows, sharing it with the simple message, “A special reminder.”
Ryan, who married the model in 2018, replied to his estranged wife’s post, offering an apology for the pain he inflicted.
He acknowledged on Instagram December 18th that his ex-wife, Kayla, posted their wedding vows online, likely to show how real their relationship once was. He respects her decision, but still feels they didn’t truly know each other – and he admits he didn’t fully understand himself at the time. He expressed gratitude for their three children and the love they shared during their marriage.
He expressed sincere regret for hurting anyone he cares about, especially the mother of his children. He admitted he wasn’t a good husband and is dedicated to personal growth and improvement.
