As an observer with years of experience in observing narratives and characters unfold, I find myself deeply engrossed in the intricate world of “Sakamoto Days“. The latest developments, particularly the JAA Jail Arc, have added layers of complexity to the already rich storyline. The dynamics between Shin, Heisuke, Atari, Tenkyu, and Taro are fascinating, and it’s intriguing to see how their pasts intertwine.
Anticipation builds among fans for the anime version of “Sakamoto Days”, as the manga unfolds its ninth story arc, known as the JAA Jail Arc. In this chapter, Shin and Heisuke sneak into JAA Prison in search of a Fortune Teller who is currently incarcerated. Atari, previously part of the Order, ended up behind bars due to errors made during X’s operations. During their mission, Shin and Heisuke encounter Tenkyu, who aims to reconcile with Uzuki. However, Tenkyu mistakenly believes that eliminating the Sakamoto family would bring joy to Uzuki, when in fact it does not.
In the comic “Sakamoto Days”, Chapters 194 and 195 unfold as follows: Shin, Heisuke, and Atari conspire to break out of prison together. However, Shin takes a drastic step into his own hands when he decides to confront Tenkyu. In the heat of their battle in Chapter 194, Shin manages to emerge victorious, but just as he’s about to deliver the fatal blow, Taro steps in, preventing him from committing an act that would be hard to undo. The narrative progresses into Chapter 195, where Taro expresses his disapproval of Shin becoming a murderer, despite the latter weeping and insisting on his own wretchedness. The tale concludes in Chapter 195 with a brief look back at Shin and Taro’s history from around eight years ago.
Sakamoto Days Will Reveal the First Meeting Between Shin and Taro
From the very beginning of the manga, Shin has admired Taro to the point of viewing him as a hero, similar to characters in Sakamoto Days. He was prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice for Taro, even giving up his own life. Contrastingly, Taro has unwavering faith in him and lets him stay at his home when Shin finds himself without another place to go. However, the manga hasn’t provided much insight into their relationship until now. There remains a question about how Shin developed such intense admiration for Taro. Certainly, Taro is a renowned hitman with an impressive reputation. Yet, the level of reverence that Shin feels for him surpasses this. Shin first encountered Taro when he was just 13 years old, and at the time, Taro was 19. In Chapter 196 of Sakamoto Days, we can expect to learn more about their past experiences together.
What is Taro Sakamoto’s Goal?
Due to their involvement in the attack on the Exhibition, Taro, Shin, and Uzuki find themselves under the radar of the hostile Japanese Association of Assassins (JAA). Subsequently, Nagumo, who was expelled from the Order, joins Taro’s group. Following the incident at the Exhibition, Taro remains a marked man by the JAA, making even routine tasks like buying his daughter’s birthday cake challenging. To compound their troubles, Taro’s store experiences financial losses due to constant attacks from assassins that deter potential customers. Recognizing that their family cannot live in tranquility as long as the JAA exists, Taro takes a stand against this menacing organization.
In a legitimate organization that occasionally engages in questionable activities, Sei Asaki serves as the main antagonist in the series Sakamoto Days. He manipulated orphans into becoming cold-hearted assassins while disguising his true intentions of running an orphanage. To torment his younger brother, Rion, he arranged for Uzuki to take Rion’s life. Taro aspires to seize control of the JAA and expand his store into a national franchise, though this ambition appears unrealistic at present. Shin and his companions support Taro and aim to enhance their abilities through training, with Shin specifically seeking guidance from Atari. The confrontation between the JAA and our heroes may ensue shortly after the JAA Jail Arc concludes.
