Throughout his impressive 40+ year career, Sam Raimi has directed 16 films, but he truly shines when making horror movies. He started with the classic The Evil Dead in 1981 and most recently directed Send Help, starring Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien. In total, he’s directed seven horror films, cementing his place as a hugely influential figure in the genre. After a nine-year detour to direct the original Spider-Man trilogy, Raimi returned to horror with a film that didn’t get enough attention and is soon leaving HBO Max.

While it wasn’t a huge hit in theaters, Drag Me to Hell has gained a dedicated fanbase and stands out as a strong horror movie from its time, though a sequel has never been made.

The horror movie Drag Me to Hell is being removed from HBO Max, and it’s currently unknown where it will be available to stream next. It’s not available on any other major streaming services right now, and announcements for April haven’t been made yet. Even if it disappears from streaming platforms, you’ll still be able to rent or buy it online.
