And just like that, Sarah Jessica Parker had everyone doing a double take. 

Sarah Jessica Parker, known for her role in *Sex and the City*, turned heads at the New York City Ballet’s 2025 Fall Fashion Gala on October 8th with a dramatic outfit featuring large black wings.

At the event, 60-year-old Sarah turned heads on the red carpet wearing a short, off-white dress with black netting over the chest that flowed into a long train. She completed the striking dark Iris van Herpen outfit with large, floor-length wings, seemingly inspired by the movie *Black Swan*.

Sarah completed her bold outfit with a neat bun and classic black peep-toe heels.

Her outfit was definitely a head-turning fashion moment, but it made it a bit tricky to pose for photos with her husband of 28 years, Matthew Broderick.

The couple, who have a 25-year-old son named James Wilkie Broderick and 16-year-old twin daughters Tabitha Hodge Broderick and Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick, shared a moment of laughter. Sarah playfully peeked her head out from behind something to find her husband’s hand to hold.

Oh my gosh, Sarah experimenting with fashion? It’s *so* her! And honestly, she’s said herself she doesn’t regret a single, bold look she’s ever worn. I mean, she just *owns* everything she puts on, it’s amazing!

As she put it to W magazine in June, “I don’t regret any of it, because what’s the point?”

Looking back, I could probably list a ton of things I did ‘wrong’ – little mishaps, poor choices, things that just didn’t quite land. But honestly? I wouldn’t trade any of it. It’s all been a wild, exhausting, and unbelievably exciting ride. It often felt like living in a slightly surreal world, and when you put it that way, what’s the point of dwelling on regrets?

However, that attitude toward fashion doesn’t seem to have trickled down to her daughters—yet. 

So far, they haven’t started going through my clothes or anything like that,” Sarah explained. “They enjoy clothes, but they’re not obsessed with them.”

She explained that people generally have a clear idea of the image they want to project, but it doesn’t appear to consume their thoughts.
