Sarah Michelle Gellar Shows Off Daughter’s Lavish 16th Birthday Gift

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. know their daughter is all that.

The couple, Sarah and her husband, recently celebrated their daughter Charlotte’s sixteenth birthday. Sarah shared that Charlotte’s gift to her was a brand new black Jeep Rubicon, complete with a large red bow.

In a heartfelt post on September 19th, Sarah celebrated 16 years of motherhood, sharing baby photos of her daughter, Charlotte. She wrote that a daughter eventually becomes your best friend, and Charlotte is everything she could have hoped for – strong, inspiring, kind, and hilarious. She playfully added that Charlotte is almost as funny as she is, but most importantly, she’s unique and incredibly special.

The *Buffy the Vampire Slayer* actress also shared how fortunate she feels to have him as her best friend, adding with a playful touch that she’s thrilled to finally be able to ride as his passenger, calling him ‘PRINZEss’.

Sarah shared photos from her Sweet Sixteen party, including sparklers and balloons. She also showed off her daughter’s new car with a couple of pictures.

Although most 16-year-olds don’t receive a Jeep as a birthday present, Sarah and Freddie-who first met on the set of their 1997 movie, *I Know What You Did Last Summer*-generally prioritize a normal family life for their children, Charlotte and 12-year-old Rocky.

And she shared that they have house rules just like anyone else.

Maya Hawke explained that when her family eats dinner together, everyone puts their phones away. She described it as a special time for connecting with each other.

Beyond that, she also feels that extracurriculars are key to helping her children grow into happy, well-rounded individuals.
