The best red carpet accessory continuously proves to be a plus one.
Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor reaffirmed their close relationship by arriving at the annual Vanity Fair Oscars after-party holding hands.
For a rare night out, Sarah wore a beautiful cream-colored tulle skirt with a matching cardigan tucked into her waist. She completed the look with bow-toed heels and a sleek bob hairstyle.
Holland contrasted with her partner, wearing a sleek all-black outfit consisting of an oversized coat, tights, and black mules. She accessorized with a red necklace and carried a black clutch, completing the look with slicked-back hair. (You can see all the after-party outfits here.)
This outing was particularly meaningful for Sarah, 51, and Holland, 83, who have been a couple for more than ten years.
Sarah and Holland were last publicly seen together at the Vanity Fair party on March 15th. Before that, they celebrated Sarah receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in December. Their previous public appearance was at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Gala in 2024.
I was so thrilled to see Holland there with Sarah for her Walk of Fame ceremony! It was especially wonderful that Holland got to introduce her, talking about all the amazing and memorable characters Sarah has brought to life over the years. It really showed how much of an impact Sarah’s work has had.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve always been fascinated by truly gifted actors, and what I’ve observed with this particular performer is remarkable. She doesn’t shy away from playing characters others might deem unlikable or even repulsive – the forgotten, the pitied, the downright awful. She throws herself into roles portraying those who’ve been dismissed or misunderstood. And what happens is beautiful: she doesn’t just play them, she champions them. She becomes their advocate, their savior, and ultimately, helps restore their dignity. It’s become clear to me that her greatest talent isn’t just acting skill, it’s her deep, genuine humanity that shines through.

During her acceptance speech, Sarah lovingly referred to Holland as her biggest supporter, expressing deep gratitude and a lifelong debt of thanks. She also thanked Ryan Murphy and Amanda Peet for their constant honesty and unwavering love, even during difficult times.
But at the Vanity Fair party, Holland and Sarah weren’t the only couple in attendance.
Several couples enjoyed the after-ceremony festivities, including Ethan and Ryan Hawke, Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams, and Kylie Jenner with Timothée Chalamet.
Timothée continued to wear his all-white outfit, but Kylie changed from her glittering red Schiaparelli dress into a stylish, black McQueen gown for the after-party.
