Housemarque, the developer of the upcoming game Saros, appears to be gradually revealing gameplay footage as the release date gets closer, as part of their marketing plan.
Following the short video released last week, the studio has shared another one, and it’s got us excited about the PlayStation 5 game again.
This scene unfolds in a completely new setting, and instead of facing a single powerful opponent like before, Arjun is now battling a group of enemies.
Okay, so if you’ve played Saros or Returnal before, the gameplay feels really familiar. But there’s this one thing that’s seriously awesome: you can bounce your shots off walls and everything! It adds a whole new layer to combat, and it’s just plain fun.
Saros is a roguelite shooter, similar to Returnal, but expands on its ideas. It features more consistent character and story development, permanent upgrades to help you improve, and systems designed to keep the difficulty balanced.
Saros will be available on April 30th! Let us know if you’re looking forward to it by leaving a comment below.
