Saros Squashes Trophy Bugs and Other Nasty Issues in Latest PS5 Patch, Available Now

Since its release a couple of weeks ago, developer Housemarque has consistently updated its new game, Saros, with frequent patches.

A new game update, version 1.004.002, is now available, and it mainly fixes a few bugs.

We’ve fixed a couple of Trophy issues with ‘Untouchable’ and ‘Vincible’. They were sometimes unlocking at the wrong moments, but that’s been corrected.

As a player, I’m really glad the developers fixed a bunch of annoying issues! They’ve taken care of things like enemies magically healing when they wander out of certain zones, characters getting stuck inside elevators, and the Ancient Depths not showing up after you beat the Prophet – which was super frustrating. It’s awesome to see them addressing these lingering problems.

We’ve improved the HDR settings, allowing the game to now display the brightest possible colors and achieve maximum brightness.

Here are the full patch notes:

Gameplay & Balance

  • Fixed a randomisation issue within the red containers
  • Fixed rare issues with phase transition in Shepherd and Priestess fights

World & Level Design

  • Fixed an issue where enemies in certain combat areas could be healed from outside the area
  • Fixed an issue where the player could clip through an elevator and fall through the floor
  • Fixed a rare situation where the Ancient Depths would not appear after defeating Prophet
  • Fixed a case where the player would not be correctly reset when falling out of the world in Cathedral

Technical

  • Fixed a rare crash when manually restarting the cycle in the Yellow Shore
  • Adjusted the peak HDR output so that it can now reach the calibrated Maximum Luminance level

Trophies

  • Fixed “Vincible” and “Untouchable” trophies being unlocked at the wrong time
