Son Studios has revealed the first trailer and images for Saturday AM: Battle Manga, a fighting game where characters from Saturday AM manga compete in two-on-two battles. The game, announced in June, will be available on PC through Steam, though a specific release date hasn’t been announced yet.
Here is an overview of the game, via Son Studios:
Saturday AM: Battle Manga is a brand new fighting game where you can play as characters from all your favorite Saturday AM stories! For the first time ever, heroes from series like Apple Black, Clock Striker, Soul Beat, Hammer, and others are battling it out in fast-paced 2.5D action.
Imagine the ultimate battles fans have always wanted – like Sano versus Cast, or Stud teaming up with Dante! The game lets you create exciting new pairings from a huge roster of characters. Every fight feels brand new with a smooth tag system, spectacular super moves, and each character’s unique abilities pulled straight from the manga.
Saturday Versus combines a vibrant anime look with quick, strategic battles, making it easy to pick up and play but also offering a challenging experience for serious competitors. The game features exciting arenas pulled directly from the Saturday AM comics, bringing these characters together in a unique crossover event.
