Sky has announced the eleven comedians who will be part of the first-ever UK version of Saturday Night Live.
Last year, the broadcaster revealed plans for a British version of NBC’s famous late-night comedy show, but they hadn’t said who would be the comedians until now.
A new six-part comedy series is coming to Sky on March 21st, featuring a talented cast including Celeste Dring, Hammed Animashaun, Larry Dean, George Fouracres, Jack Shep, Ayoade Bamgboye, Al Nash, Paddy Young, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, and Emma Sidi. They will all be series regulars!
Each week, the show will air live, capturing the unpredictable and exciting energy that has made SNL a major part of American culture, but with a uniquely British perspective.

Each week, a different celebrity will host Saturday Night Live, bringing their own style to the show, along with a popular musical performer.
Like always, each show will be filmed in front of a live audience. Expect a beginning stand-up routine, funny scenes based on current events, musical performances, and a British version of SNL’s famous news parody, Weekend Update.
James Longman, the show’s producer, said the UK comedy scene is thriving with amazing performers. He described the cast as a group of new, energetic, and hilarious voices, highlighting their fantastic on-screen chemistry and expressing excitement to introduce them to audiences.
