Savannah Chrisleyis heartbroken over the death of Charlie Kirk.

Following the tragic shooting death of the Turning Point USA co-founder on September 10, during a college speaking event in Utah, a former star from Chrisley Knows Best expressed what she would fondly remember about their friendship.

Savannah shared in a TikTok video that the past two and a half years have been among the most challenging of her life, yet during this time she has encountered numerous wonderful individuals who will be friends for life.

In my own words, I’d say, “Charlie Kirk, one remarkable individual, helped me find my voice and empowered me as a woman. He guided me into this world where I could make a difference.

In Savannah’s account, she shared that it was her brother Charlie, aged 31, who motivated her to advocate for the release of their parents Todd and Julie Chrisley, whose pardon was granted by President Donald Trump earlier this year.

She penned in the caption: “He supported us when everyone else walked away,” she expressed. “He recognized our worth, offered encouragement, and made me understand that there was still purpose for us, even when I struggled to recognize it myself. Such faith leaves an indelible mark.

And their working relationship was set to grow even deeper this fall. 

She clarified that she was meant to stand beside him at each college event this October, but instead, she’s sitting here, her heart shattered into pieces, speechless due to the depth of her sorrow.

Sharing her grief over the politically-motivated murder, Savannah expressed sympathy towards Erika Frantzve Kirk, the conservative activist’s wife and mother of their two children.

The star of ‘Growing Up Chrisley’ expressed deep sorrow, saying, ‘I’m deeply saddened by the loss of Erica.’ She was one of the nicest and most compassionate people I’ve ever encountered,” (paraphrased)

Additionally, she pointed out the significant influence Charlie had on the globe through his open political discussions, stating, “He sparked a movement. I aspire for a portion of his legacy to be something my children can inherit.

In a note to Charlie, Savannah expressed, “You’ve transformed America, you’ve impacted me deeply, and you’ve reshaped my family. May you find peace now, my dear friend. The heavens welcome a valiant soul.

We’ve sadly lost an exceptional individual who was not just a leader but also a relentless fighter. His unique character and unwavering convictions were truly extraordinary, even hard to find. The idea that his life was taken by such a cruel, vile, wicked act is unfathomable. It’s utterly appalling and deeply saddening.

 

Following Kirk’s demise, the star of The Terminator expressed his sympathies and well wishes to the family of the political speaker.

Following Kirk’s passing, the former View host made it clear she condemned the act of violence.

The 42nd U.S. President expressed deep sorrow and frustration upon learning about Charlie’s killing.

In a message on X, Hillary wrote: “Let’s all take some deep reflection and strengthen our commitment to debate intensely, but always maintain tranquility.” She added that Erika, along with her two young kids and family, are being kept in their thoughts and prayers.

The popular reality TV personality expressed feeling stunned upon hearing about the death of her dear, long-time friend, Kirk.

After Kirk was fatally shot, the First Lady of the United States expressed her sadness for his children, stating on social media platform X that they would grow up surrounded by tales rather than memories, pictures instead of joyful laughter, and silence in place of the sound of their father’s voice.

The actor spoke out on his connection to Kirk.

As an ardent admirer, I couldn’t help but relish those dinner moments with Charlie. Yet, my heart often ached with concerns for his wellbeing. Recently, I shared this on social media. People are always talking about the need for ‘national conversations.’ Well, Charlie Kirk isn’t just talking – he’s living it! In the very heart of left-leaning strongholds, at venues that might be considered the lion’s den, he’s engaging in dialogues. He’s hopeful that facts and logic will triumph.

In alignment with the views of other leaders, the 82-year-old emphasized once more that such violence has no room in our nation.

Repeating the sentiments shared by his fellow leaders, the elderly individual underscored that our country should be free from such violent acts.

Biden penned, “It needs to stop right here,” expressing that he and his spouse, Jill Biden, are sending their prayers to the family and friends of Charlie Kirk.

After the tragedy, the former POTUS spoke out against the violent attack. 

In a statement, Bush stated that an incident occurred on a university campus, a place where diverse viewpoints should be revered as inviolable. He emphasized the need to eliminate aggression and harsh language from public discussions. According to him, individuals belonging to other political parties aren’t our adversaries; instead, they are fellow citizens with whom we share the same nation.

He added, “May God bless Charlie Kirk and his family, and may God guide America toward civility.”
