EC Digital Entertainment, a publisher based in Hong Kong, will bring the PC version of the open-world game Scarface: The World Is Yours back to players through Steam and the Epic Games Store, the company revealed.
The Epic Games Store version is now available for $29.99. It was released early due to a technical error during setup, according to EC Digital Entertainment in a Steam announcement.
EC Digital Entertainment confirmed they plan to release their game on Steam and are working quickly to get everything ready. You might see some temporary content on the Steam page now, but they’ll be updating it with the final details before the game officially launches.
I remember when Scarface: The World Is Yours first came out – it was back in 2006 for the PS2, Xbox, and PC. Then, a year later, they released it on the Wii, which was cool to see!
The PC version of the game is getting an update with an optional high-definition graphics mode, which will be available as a free download. EC Digital Entertainment says this mode uses AI to improve how the game looks, but keeps the original gameplay experience the same. Players can easily switch between the original graphics and the enhanced visuals whenever they want.
Here is an overview of the game, via its store pages:
About
They thought you were dead. But Tony Montana doesn’t die so easily.
Following Sosa’s devastating betrayal, Tony has lost it all: his home, his wealth, and everything he’d built. But he isn’t giving up – not even close.
Relive the iconic story of Tony Montana in Scarface: The World Is Yours, now back with updated visuals! This re-release of the classic open-world action game lets a new generation of players experience the explosive action with the option to download high-definition graphics for a sharper, more detailed look.
Okay, so in this game, you basically get to roam a totally open Miami – no loading screens between areas! You can fight, make deals, strong-arm people, and just generally take over. And it doesn’t stop at the city, you can expand your influence out to the surrounding islands too. It’s all about building your empire, however you want to do it.
First you get the money, then you get the power, then you get revenge.
Key Features
