The popular horror comedy series, Scary Movie, is coming back with a sixth installment! After a 13-year break since the last film in 2013, Scary Movie 6 will hit theaters on June 12, 2026, and will also feature some familiar faces from the original movies.
Cheri Oteri and Chris Elliott, both former cast members of Saturday Night Live, are officially returning for the next Scary Movie film, according to Deadline. Oteri played Gail Hailstorm in the first Scary Movie (2000), a comedic take on Courteney Cox’s Gale Weathers from Scream. Elliott appeared in Scary Movie 2 (2001) as Hanson and later as Ezekiel in Scary Movie 4 (2006).
Damon Wayans Jr., Kim Wayans, and Heidi Gardner are joining the cast of the 2026 film. Details about the characters played by returning cast members like Oteri and Elliott, as well as the new additions, are currently being kept secret.
