Scream Movies And Halloween Kitchen Utensils Ranked

Are you fond of movies with a spine-tingling edge? Let’s switch things up and talk about ‘scary snacks’ instead! With Halloween just around the corner, it seems your culinary creations could use a dash of ghostly charm. Lucky for you, Spirit Halloween has got you covered with their Scream kitchenware collection, ideal for your upcoming spooky soiree. I’m going to present an evaluation of these kitchenware items, followed by my personal top picks from the 6 Scream films that have been unleashed so far.

Among the Scream collection, the standout item is a Ghostface knife block that can accommodate up to 4 knives for stabbing. Following closely behind, although currently out of stock at Spirit Halloween, is the Ghostface cookie jar which is available for ordering at Spencer’s. The third item on the list is a Ghostface utensil holder shaped like his signature bloody knife. Lastly, the collection includes a Ghostface chip & dip set adorned with little ghosts and knives, along with a blood-stained rim, as well as a Ghostface cutting board. Prices for these items range between $16.99 and $34.99.

Now, let’s move on to some sweet treats with my ranking of the Scream movies listed below:

Scream movie rankings:

1. Scream (1996)
2. Scream 2 (1997)

If you’re not spending your spare time gearing up for Halloween, then what are you occupied with? As September has arrived, October is just around the corner. Are you planning on hosting or attending a Halloween party? What costume have you chosen for yourself? If these aren’t the questions you’re pondering, it’s high time to act! Perhaps immersing yourself in a spooky-themed movie marathon could help get you into the Halloween spirit. The Scream series is a great choice for that, offering an exciting blend of horror and camp. While we await the release of Scream 7 (currently under controversy as some find it to be too fan-servicey), I thought this would be an opportune moment to share my ranking of the series with you. Although I won’t delve into every decision in detail, here’s a list that should serve as a starting point for exploring this fantastic and chilling franchise. Give my ranking a look below!

Scream 6

Scream 6 – The beginning of this film boasts one of the best starts since the original, however, it fails to fully deliver on its potential. In contrast to her performance in Scream 5, Barrera’s acting in this installment is significantly improved. Nevertheless, the repeated approach of revisiting earlier films in the series becomes increasingly tiresome and is a significant drawback for the movie. Despite Hayden Panettierre reprising her character Kirby, her role ends up being largely unnecessary overall. Regrettably, Scream 6 did not live up to my expectations.

Scream 3 – Despite often being labeled as the weakest in the series, Scream 3 offers some impressive comedy and standout performances, particularly from Parker Posey’s Jennifer Jolie character, who is among the funniest and best in the franchise. The Hollywood recreation of Sidney Prescott’s original home from the first Scream movie provides a more satisfying revisit to the original than what was attempted in Scream 6.

A Fresh Start with Scream 5

After an 11-year hiatus since Scream 4, Scream 5 marked our return to the series. I believe this film did exceptionally well in rekindling fan excitement and reminding us why we initially fell in love with the franchise. The movie featured inventive, horrifying deaths (even during daytime!) that sent shivers down viewers’ spines at the cinemas. Jenna Ortega established herself as a new Scream Queen, and the film generated so much enthusiasm that another sequel was approved swiftly.

3. Scream 4 – Although not everyone’s cup of tea, I believe its opening sequence, which is remarkably self-referential, sets things off on the right foot. After a decade-long gap between this and Scream 3, Scream 4 had to make its mark, and in my view, it did so with great emphasis. Scream 4 should have marked the start of this series for the 2010s, but unfortunately, we would endure another decade before moving forward.

Placing ‘Scream 2’ Second Makes Sense – A Sequel Worth Celebrating”

The phrase “Scream 2” was chosen to be in second place because it simply sounded fitting. The fact that a successful sequel even exists is reason enough to rejoice. “Scream 2” welcomed back the primary cast for another thrilling ride, yet managed to hold our interest with gruesome deaths (Randy’s tragic demise, Cici’s heartbreaking fate), and a climactic scene filled with symbolic visuals and blood-curdling conclusions. “Scream 2” will forever hold a special place in my heart – it was the very first “Scream” movie I watched alone, and it truly ignited my passion for horror films.

Began everything – That iconic horror movie, Scream, truly kickstarted a whole new era. The shocking death of Drew Barrymore right at the start of the film made Wes Craven a horror legend. To this day, Scream remains the gold standard for slasher films that followed, with its blend of humor and suspense yet to be matched by any other. Even as others have tried to replicate its success, none have managed to do it quite as effectively. The original Scream continues to hold the top spot in many horror fans’ hearts.
