There have been some changes to the upcoming Scrubs revival before it even begins. ABC has announced that the premiere will now be a two-part event on February 25th, starting at 8 PM Eastern Time.
Great news for Scrubs fans! I’m thrilled to report that ABC has confirmed Neil Flynn will be reprising his iconic role as the Janitor, and Christa Miller is returning as the wonderfully sarcastic Jordan. It’s fantastic to see these familiar faces back in the mix!
ABC has announced three new guest stars for the upcoming Scrubs revival. Rachel Bilson, known for her roles in Nashville and The O.C., will play Charlie, a mysterious and attractive woman who appears at Sacred Heart Hospital. Andy Ridings (Shifting Gears, All My Children) will portray Wes, a pilot responsible for transporting organs for transplant. Lisa Gilroy (Shrinking, Twisted Metal) joins the cast as Lily, a harpist who brings a touch of serenity to the hospital lobby.
The revival of Scrubs is bringing back original stars Zach Braff, Donald Faison, and Sarah Chalke, who will reprise their roles as Doctors JD Dorian, Christopher Turk, and Elliot Reid – and also serve as executive producers. Joining them will be Judy Reyes as Nurse Carla Espinosa and John C. McGinley as Dr. Perry Cox, along with other new and returning cast members.
