Hey everyone, just heard some awesome news! METASLA is dropping their pixel art action RPG, Sea Fantasy, on the PlayStation 5 through the PlayStation Store on October 24th. I’m super excited to check this open-world game out!
Sea Fantasy was initially released on PC through Steam on January 7th. It then became available on Nintendo Switch on June 19th, and on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One on July 18th.
The PlayStation 5 release will happen at the same time as a team-up with streamer Shinjisan, and that collaboration will be available on all gaming systems.

This tale follows two young adventurers as they embark on a journey to capture the elusive creatures known as Sea’Az.

- “Sea’Az”: A Mysterious Marine Organism – In the world of Sea Fantasy, marine life called “Sea’Az” inhabit the oceans and lakes. They vary in appearance, size and rarity, and all Sea’Az can be fished.
- Fishing the Sea’Az – To catch Sea’Az, perform a successful “Gauge Action”. Be careful, as there are Sea’Az with more powerful individual “gauge gimmick”.
- Crafting with Sea’Az Materials – You can create equipment (fishing rods and hooks) using materials obtained from the Sea’Az you catch. By creating strong equipment, you can take advantage of the fishing action.
- Explore by Boat – Players can obtain a ship by advancing through the storyline. Players can freely get on and off the ship and explore the vast pixel world.
- Various 2D Actions Other Than Fishing – It is not only about fishing. You can enjoy various 2D action elements in between fishing.
