Sean “Diddy” Combs Pictured in Prison for First Time

Sean “Diddy” Combs‘life behind bars is coming to light.

A photo taken inside Fort Dix federal prison on November 23rd shows the rapper wearing a gray sweatshirt and sweatpants while walking down a hallway. His graying hair and goatee were visible, and he seemed to be smiling at another inmate who wasn’t pictured.

A new video obtained by TMZ—which TopMob News hasn’t been able to confirm is authentic—shows Combs wearing the same clothes he was seen in during his arrest—along with a dark jacket and yellow beanie—while working in the prison chapel library.

I’ve been following the case of Mr. Combs, and it’s been quite a journey. After being sentenced to 50 months for the prostitution charges, he was moved from the detention center in New York to Fort Dix in late October. It was sad to hear he actually spent his 56th birthday there on November 4th – I really hope he’s doing okay.

According to a prison menu shared with People magazine, the rapper had a simple day of meals. For breakfast, he was offered bran flakes with either breakfast cake or whole wheat bread. Lunch was a choice between a chickpea burger and chicken parmesan, and for his birthday dinner, he could choose between cheese pizza or navy beans with a side salad.

Combs’ first week at Fort Dix included rumors about him drinking illegally made alcohol, but his representative strongly refuted those claims.

According to a statement released on November 9th to People magazine, Combs’ representative confirmed that he has followed all prison regulations. They emphasized his commitment to maintaining sobriety and practicing self-discipline.

The spokesperson requested that the public and media be understanding, allow him space to work on himself, and respect his need for a peaceful future.

According to records from the Federal Bureau of Prisons obtained by TopMob News, Combs is expected to be released on June 4, 2028.

At his sentencing, the rap executive apologized for his behavior, telling the judge he was simply a flawed person who made mistakes. He admitted he’d been overwhelmed by his wealth and inflated ego, and had lost his way.

He said he felt completely crushed and devastated. He admitted to feeling intense self-loathing and like everything had been taken from him.

For more on the case against Combs, read on.

At the hearing on October 3, 2025, the judge sentenced him to over four years in prison—specifically, 50 months—followed by five years of supervised release. He was also ordered to pay a $500,000 fine.

The musician publicly apologized to Cassie Ventura and Jane, identifying them as victims, during his sentencing hearing on October 3rd. This was the first time he had spoken about the case in court.

Combs admitted that the trauma of domestic violence would stay with him for life. He described his behavior as appalling and deeply regretted his actions, explaining he was struggling with severe drug addiction and lacked the support he desperately needed. He took full responsibility and offered no justifications for his behavior.

He went on to share how the case has impacted him.

He explained that he was simply trying his best, but got carried away with his ambition and pride. This led to devastating consequences: he lost his freedom, couldn’t be there for his family, lost his businesses and career, and ruined his reputation. Ultimately, he lost his self-respect and feels completely broken and humbled. He admits to deeply disliking himself and feeling like he has nothing left.

Judge Arun Subramanian set Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sentencing for October 3, 2025. The judge also refused to grant Combs bail before the sentencing, explaining that his history of violent behavior meant he should stay in jail.

Following the trial, after Sean “Diddy” Combs was acquitted of racketeering and sex trafficking charges involving his former partners, Cassie and “Jane,” but convicted of transporting them for the purpose of prostitution, his attorney issued a statement regarding the outcome.

Attorney Douglas Wigdor stated on July 2nd that the legal proceedings began when his client, Cassie Ventura, bravely filed a civil lawsuit in November 2023. While the jury didn’t find enough evidence to convict Combs of sex trafficking, Ventura’s actions allowed them to find him liable for transporting someone for the purpose of prostitution. Wigdor believes Ventura’s courage has had a lasting impact on both the entertainment world and the pursuit of justice.

Acknowledging the charges against Combs, to which he has pleaded not guilty, Wigdor emphasized, “We firmly stand with and support our client, who demonstrated incredible bravery throughout this legal process.”

Wigdor also commended Ventura for her testimony, as she was one of 34 witnesses during the nearly month-long trial involving Combs.

He stated that she demonstrated remarkable courage and shed light on the harmful behavior of influential men, as well as the decades of unchecked misconduct. He emphasized that this case clearly shows the need for significant change, and they will continue to support those who have experienced abuse.

When Combs learned he was found not guilty on three of the five charges against him, he dropped to his knees and bowed his head as if in prayer, according to NBC News reporters who were present in the courtroom. He had faced a potential life sentence if convicted on all counts.

According to reports, Combs’ family members were in the courtroom and reacted with applause and cheers to the verdict. His lawyers embraced each other, and Combs shared a hug with his attorney, Brian Steel.

After three days of discussion, the jury of twelve reached a decision in the sex trafficking trial of Combs on July 2nd. They found him guilty on two counts related to transporting former girlfriends, Ventura and a woman known only as “Jane,” for the purpose of prostitution.

Sean Combs was acquitted of one charge of conspiring to commit racketeering and two counts of sex trafficking, despite having previously denied all accusations.

The jury informed Judge Arun Subramanian they couldn’t agree on the racketeering charge before delivering their final decision, citing strongly held, differing opinions. The judge urged them to keep discussing the case. They ultimately reached a verdict a few hours after resuming deliberations the next day.

During her nearly five-hour closing argument to the jury, prosecutor Christy Slavik asserted that Sean “Diddy” Combs used intimidation, force, and control to achieve his goals.

She explained that he was incredibly stubborn and always got his way. He saw himself as a king, and expected everyone around him to obey his wishes.

Slavik highlighted two incidents involving Sean “Diddy” Combs: a physical assault on his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, in 2016, and an alleged assault on his then-girlfriend in 2024, who is being referred to as “Jane” during the trial.

Although eight years apart, these two events are connected, representing different parts of the same overall story—the story of Sean Combs and the criminal organization he ran with the help of his close associates.

What I’ve seen in this case is truly disturbing. This individual was consistently catered to by a criminal organization that used a calculated pattern of violence, intimidation, and control to fulfill his every need. He clearly believed he could get away with anything, relying on people being too afraid or ashamed to come forward. He thought his celebrity, money, and influence meant the rules didn’t apply to him – a dangerous and ultimately flawed assumption.

Okay, so listen, it’s just obvious to me that Diddy had everyone wrapped around his finger! Slavik pointed out that he had this whole team – a seriously dedicated crew – whose only job was to make sure his every whim was catered to, to build him up, and to cover for him no matter what. It’s like they were obsessed with protecting his image, and honestly, it was pretty intense. They’d do anything for him, apparently.

The prosecutors asked the court for permission to change some details of their arguments about the attempted arson and kidnapping charges.

Despite still being charged with racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking – including allegations of kidnapping and arson – prosecutors have clarified the charges. In a letter dated June 24th, they stated they’ve removed specific legal instructions related to attempted kidnapping in both California and New York, attempted arson under California law, and assisting with sex trafficking.

The government stated it hopes that using simpler language will make the instructions easier to follow and prevent misunderstandings.

Combs told JudgeSubramanian that he will not take the stand during his sex trafficking trial.

The judge made it clear that whether or not the defendant chose to testify, no one – not even the jury – could assume his guilt simply because he remained silent.

Combs admitted he discussed with his team whether or not to testify, but stated the ultimate decision was his alone.

“I’ve thought this through completely, and this is what I’ve decided,” he told the judge. “It’s my decision, and I stand by it.”

Diddy’s lawyer, Teny Garagos, informed the judge that both the defense and prosecution anticipate needing around four hours each to deliver their closing statements.

After several days of testimony from Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent Joseph Cerciello, the prosecution rested its case on June 24th. Combs’ defense team announced they will rely on the evidence already presented and will not call any witnesses of their own.

During his June 23rd testimony, the jury saw explicit videos believed to be from Sean “Diddy” Combs’ parties, often referred to as “freak offs.” NBC News reporters present in the courtroom confirmed the videos were presented as evidence.

The agent reported finding 50 explicit videos from 2021 and 2022, but the jury only viewed two of them, using headphones and individual screens.

In voicemails to his former chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, Sean Combs outlined several requests he had while staying at a hotel in November 2021. These included asking for more baby oil, which he said he often used when he became upset.

He told Khorram to have them call him before heading over. He added, sounding surprised to be out, “Put twenty bottles in this vehicle.”

Khorram also said she was staying at the hotel another day, and let them know, “The baby oil is right outside the door.”

According to text messages, his former employee told him she was setting up an IV drip for him and Jane, which he’d previously used to recover after intense competitions, as revealed in the group chat.

She also made sure that there were Plan-B pills, an emergency contraceptive, in his nightstand.

The jury saw text messages between Combs and Ventura where Ventura openly described the emotional and psychological harm she claimed she suffered due to the alleged abuse.

In March 2017, after Combs suggested they take a break from their on-again, off-again relationship (which lasted from 2007 to 2018), Ventura responded that she didn’t want to pause things, explaining she didn’t want to be criticized for standing up for herself and felt Combs made her feel unimportant.

In another instance, she further accused her ex of physically assaulting her.

In a letter from May, Ventura wrote that she offered him her love, but he repeatedly hurt her – she described a specific incident where he physically assaulted her, dragging her by her hair. She emphasized she was no longer willing to tolerate the abuse, stating she was thirty years old and it wasn’t a game. She also expressed feeling emotionally devastated, saying she felt disconnected from the experience, but found a strange beauty in witnessing her own strength even in that moment.

Brendan Paul, who worked as Sean Combs’ assistant from 2022 to 2024, testified that he bought drugs for Combs several times. These drugs included marijuana, 2C, cocaine, ketamine, and ecstasy.

Paul explained that they would text their drug dealer, who would then come to one of their houses. He said he initially connected with the dealer through texts or phone calls, and also mentioned being fired from jobs multiple times for things like forgetting a Lululemon fanny pack.

However, Paul vehemently denied being a “drug mule” for the rap mogul.

On June 18th, Judge Subramanian ended court for the day because one of the jurors was sick and couldn’t come back. Court will also be closed on June 19th for the Juneteenth holiday.

The judge explained that a juror is unwell and unable to attend today. They experienced dizziness and had to leave, and their partner informed the court. Because this juror is a regular member of the jury, the trial cannot proceed as scheduled.

The judge acknowledged that it’s unknown if the juror’s sudden dizziness, nausea, and headache – caused by vertigo – will pass quickly or become a lasting problem, but stated they would keep an eye on it.

Just a quick update for those following the trial – since the courts are closed on June 19th for Juneteenth, we’ll be back in session on June 20th, but with a slightly shorter day. We’re planning to run things from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to keep things moving forward. As a lifestyle expert, I always appreciate knowing these little details to help plan your day!

Just after Judge Subramanian removed Juror No. 6 due to inconsistencies about where they live, another juror is now potentially facing removal. This juror is accused of discussing the case with a former coworker. The judge questioned the juror and asked to examine their phone, according to NBC News.

By the end of the court session on June 16, a decision about whether to dismiss the member hadn’t been reached.

Kanye West showed up at the New York City courthouse on June 13th to support Sean Combs. West was there for about half an hour and briefly visited the waiting area, but he didn’t go inside the courtroom itself. The courtroom is reserved for Combs’ family, lawyers, the press, and members of the public who have been waiting in line for hours.

Jane remembered a fight they had after she took a trip to Las Vegas with a fellow rapper and his spouse.

Let me tell you, this situation is deeply disturbing. In my professional opinion, the testimony revealed a horrific instance of exploitation. Apparently, during a trip, someone solicited a sex worker named Anton – someone both she and Combs had hired previously. What followed was a truly appalling act: a group of people watched Anton engage in sexual activity with another woman in a hotel room. It’s a clear case of sexual voyeurism and a complete violation of privacy and dignity. It’s crucial to understand the gravity of this and how damaging it is to everyone involved.

Jane informed Combs’ lawyer, Geragos, that Combs was angry because he believed she had been at a sexually suggestive gathering with another man.

On the 21st day of the Combs trial, a prosecutor named Maurene Comey told the court her team wants to dismiss one of the jurors.

She told Judge Subramanian, just before the jury came in, that they were hesitant to submit the letter because it seemed dishonest and raised significant concerns for them.

Okay, so our amazing lawyer, Alexandra Shapiro – seriously, she’s incredible – pointed out that Juror Number 6 is one of the Black jurors. Then she asked the judge for just a day or two to write up a response and really dig into the legal precedents. I mean, she’s so thorough, it’s exactly what we need! I’m just trusting her to handle everything, she’s brilliant.

I heard Judge Subramanian say he’s going to hold off on dealing with any practical matters concerning the juror until he’s reached a decision. Basically, he’s not going to worry about things like scheduling or arrangements until he knows what’s happening with the case.

On June 10th, Jane and Garagos had a heated discussion where Garagos suggested the witness was exchanging sexual favors for expensive gifts.

Attorney Mark Geragos reviewed text messages from November 2021 between Jane Doe and Sean Combs. The messages revealed that Doe was distressed to learn Combs was having sexual relations with other women. In the texts, she questioned Combs about whether he had given one of these women a Chanel bag after their encounter.

Jane said that she didn’t get a Chanel purse from Combs, telling Garagos that she “got trauma.”

When the attorney asked what a Bottega bag was, she replied, “I’m sure you have one.”

And when Geragos asked how much the item costs, Jane asked, “How much does my body cost?”

Jane was granted a 10-minute break following the exchange.

Okay, so this is going to sound crazy, but I started really digging into Sean and his relationships around 2022. I was researching everything, and I came across this term… ‘cuckhold.’ Honestly, it just perfectly described what I was seeing between him and his partners. I know it sounds weird, but after looking at their dynamic, that’s what it felt like to me, and it explained so much. I couldn’t believe it, but it all clicked after I learned about that term.

She explained that the research helped her better understand why people enjoyed watching their partners with other men. She was trying to explore all the underlying reasons for that enjoyment.

The witness suggested that Combs’ interest in “hotel nights” – experiences very similar to what Ventura called “freak offs” – might stem from him exploring his own sexuality.

She explained that some individuals might harbor hidden curiosities they feel too embarrassed to explore personally, and instead live vicariously through another person’s experiences.

Jane stated she’d given the name “Trifecta” to Paul, an escort she and Combs hired several times, because she felt their sexual relationship was as successful as a winning streak in basketball.

“I was Kobe Bryant and Paul was Shaq [O’Neil],” she told jurors. “Combs was Michael Jordan.”

She said Paul was “really nice” and explained that, if she were to engage with sex workers, she preferred someone with a kind and pleasant personality.

Jane stated that the relationship between Combs and Khorram caused problems in her romantic relationship with the music executive.

Jane explained that Khorram was constantly with Sean, which created problems in their relationship. She felt Khorram had strong feelings for her, and that those feelings affected how Sean behaved towards her.

On June 10th, Judge Subramanian rejected a request for a mistrial from Combs’ lawyers. They had argued that Ventura and her friend, Bryana Bongolan, falsely claimed Combs had threatened Bongolan by holding her over a 17th-floor balcony.

His attorneys, who had previously asked for a mistrial but were turned down, claimed in a court document that the prosecution acted improperly by presenting false testimony.

According to a recent letter, the government presented evidence in court that they either knew was false or should have known was false. This evidence concerned their claim that Mr. Combs threatened Bryana Bongolan by holding her over the balcony of Cassie Ventura’s apartment in September 2016. Because of this, the letter argues the court should declare a mistrial to prevent an unfair outcome.

Jane alleged that the rap mogul had beaten her for hours June 2024.

Okay, so I’ve been following this case, and apparently, Jane – she’s a witness – said things got intense with Combs. She claims they were arguing because he was seen with this much younger woman, like, 25 years younger! And then, get this, she apparently lost it, called him a truly awful name – a ‘pedophile’ – and actually pushed his head into the marble countertop in their kitchen! It’s just… shocking. I’ve read the transcripts, and it sounds absolutely insane. I can’t believe she actually did that!

Let me tell you what one of the witnesses shared with investigators. She said she actually hid in the main bedroom, and then Sean Combs started trying to force his way in, kicking at the door – we even have photos showing the damage. She claims that as she tried to get away, he kicked her in the back of her leg, causing her to fall. It was a really frightening situation for her, understandably.

She told the prosecutors that he grabbed her in a chokehold and lifted her off the ground, making it hard to breathe. She said she was struggling to get away from him, and was forced to stand on her toes while trying to escape his grip.

Jane stated she fled her house and hid behind an outside wall for about two hours, hoping the person would go away, but they didn’t. She then said they both went back to his house, and she curled up in the backyard, trying to shield herself while he reportedly attacked her.

Oh my god, it’s just… hearing Jane describe it in court absolutely broke my heart. She said it all started when he punched her back – can you believe it?! She testified he just started hitting her head, then kicking her! And the worst part? He was yelling all sorts of awful things while he just kept… punching. It’s horrifying. I can’t even imagine being in her shoes. It’s just… devastating to hear.

She alleged that he told her that she was “trying to take him away from his kids and his family.”

She testified that she told him, “No, I don’t want that. Please just leave me alone. Please stop.” She said he then grabbed her arm and hair, and began dragging her back towards the house, pulling her by her hair and arm.

Jane reported that after the attack, she had two large, raised bumps about the size of golf balls on her forehead, and a black eye.

Jane reported that Homeland Security Investigations raided her home—which Sean Combs had paid for in March 2023—as well as several other properties owned by him. She stated that when agents arrived at her house, she immediately contacted Combs’ head of security to inform him.

In December 2023, Jane claimed a powerful person threatened to share intimate videos of them with the father of her child.

Jane testified that as her relationship with Combs fell apart, he told her he had nothing to lose by making the videos public. She described a relentless series of pressuring phone calls.

Jane texted Khorram about what happened, and this conversation became part of the legal evidence. In the messages, Jane explained that Combs was threatening to release a video, and she claimed she was “heavily drugged” in it.

Honestly, it just broke my heart to read that she needed to step back from Sean because of everything he put her through. She said she needed time to heal from all the trauma, and it’s just… devastating to think about what she must be going through. I just want her to be okay and take all the time she needs to recover.

Jane told the court that Khorram assured her that Combs would not use the footage.

During her court testimony, Jane stated that certain claims in Ventura’s November 2023 lawsuit – which was later resolved – matched what she herself had gone through with Combs.

She told the jury, while crying, that she nearly passed out, and might have actually lost consciousness. She explained that three particular pages contained deeply upsetting details that mirrored what she was going through.

Jane, a participant in the events referred to as “hotel nights,” shared that the experience felt deeply personal, like she was witnessing her own life unfold. This prompted her to reach out to Combs directly through text messages to address what had happened.

After Ventura filed her lawsuit, she wrote, in screenshots presented as evidence, that reading it felt like reliving her own sexual trauma. She described feeling ill, stating the lawsuit detailed her experiences ‘word for word,’ including descriptions of drug use during those times. She accused Ventura of anticipating the lawsuit and of manipulating her, leading her to question her own sanity.

The messages expressed deep distress, stating the sender felt pressured into repeated sexual acts. They felt invalidated and gaslit regarding their trauma, leading to feelings of violation and the belief that they had been sexually exploited.

Combs then called Jane and secretly recorded their conversation, which was later presented as evidence. During the call, he reminded her that they had shared experiences and stated he needed her present at a specific time.

Unaware she was being recorded, Jane told Combs she felt nauseous after reviewing Ventura’s documents.

Jane stated that during her involvement with Combs and male escorts in events called “Hotel Nights,” she frequently used ecstasy. However, one night she chose to remain drug-free while engaging in sexual activity with three men.

I remember her saying she’d been with several men that night, and that she actually got sick. Then, she told the court that Sean walked in and, trying to be comforting, said she’d feel better if they went outside. It was like he was trying to get her away from everything, and she seemed to accept that.

Jane said that at the end of the night, she felt “absolutely terrible.”
