Sean “Diddy” Combs Trial: Aubrey O’Day Hoping for Justice

Aubrey O’Day has been tuned in to Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial.

A former member of Danity Kane, who gained popularity through the music mogul’s “Making the Band” series in the mid-2000s, openly expressed her thoughts on his ongoing trial, revealing her expectations for its final outcome as closing arguments were made on June 26 following almost two months of testimony.

In an exclusive chat with TopMob News, Aubrey expressed his viewpoint on justice: “I want every crime he’s truly guilty of to result in appropriate punishment for him, as far as I’m concerned.

She went on to say, “In my professional opinion, it would be ideal if the prosecution had done such an exceptional job that there are no doubts about their case right now. Ideally, they should have meticulously connected all the pieces of evidence, leading to a clear conviction on the charges they’ve indicted him for.

Combs is facing accusations including racketeering conspiracy, as well as four separate charges related to sex trafficking and soliciting prostitution. However, he has entered a plea of not guilty for all these allegations against him.

For Aubrey, who will feature in the upcoming show “Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind,” airing on July 9 on TopMob, she merely wishes that during the jury’s deliberation, they find themselves adequately educated.

The 41-year-old stated, “Watching the initial stages of the trial stirs apprehension, and there remain unanswered queries for many. I don’t have any doubts, but it’s crucial that the prosecution presents a solid case to prevent the jury from having them.

As a devoted follower, I’d like to share that Marc Agnifilo, in my understanding, has communicated his intention to wrap up his closing argument within approximately three hours from now. Once he concludes, it will be the jury’s turn to commence their deliberations.

In wrapping up her arguments, U.S. prosecutor Christy Slavik highlighted the key points of their seven-week trial by asserting that Combs had relied on his power, intimidation, and aggression to obtain what he desired.

1. “She stated that he persists until he gets a yes, not a no.”

2. “She mentioned that he ruled over everything and everyone catered to his needs.”

3. “She pointed out that he never accepted refusal and instead expected compliance.”

4. “She observed that all had to obey him, for he was their ruler.”

5. “She explained that he wouldn’t settle for a no, but demanded affirmation.”

It was anticipated that the reality star could potentially testify at the trial, given that her former Danity Kane bandmate Dawn Richard had already testified in May. However, Aubrey expressed relief that she wasn’t actually summoned to do so.

She expressed that she doesn’t desire experiences such as testifying in a federal court case, “I prefer other things instead. What I truly yearn for is tranquility within and an excellent cup of boba tea. I have no interest in being called to sit on the stand in federal trials.

In fact, Aubrey said she never expected to receive a subpoena.

In this case, I find myself more of a listener rather than a speaker, for the reasons being that the matters at hand involve particular criminal activities.

For about seven weeks now, Combs’ trial has been ongoing in New York City. It seems that the proceedings will wrap up relatively soon compared to later in the timeline. This Monday, the prosecution was almost done with their lengthy, approximately 5-hour closing statement.

According to reports from NBC News, defense lawyer Marc Agnifilo indicated that he aims to wrap up his closing statement within approximately three hours. Once completed, the jury will start their deliberations.

In wrapping up their case, U.S. prosecutor Christy Slavik succinctly recapped their seven-week presentation by asserting that Combs resorted to using power, intimidation, and force to attain his objectives.

1. “She stated that he’s persistent, never accepting ‘no’,” or

2. “She mentioned that he was a man who wouldn’t accept ‘no,'” or

3. “She pointed out that he was not one to back down when faced with a ‘no’,” or

4. “She observed that he persisted even when met with a ‘no’,” or

5. “She explained that he never gave up, despite the answer being ‘no’,” or

6. “She noted that he was unyielding in the face of ‘no’.”

As for the second part:

1. “She said it was his domain; everyone was there to cater to him,” or

2. “She remarked that it was his realm, with all present to attend to him,” or

3. “She observed that he held court, and all were there to obey him,” or

4. “She stated that his subjects served him in his kingdom,” or

5. “She noted that everyone in his domain obeyed his commands.”

Attorney Christy Slavik took approximately five hours to present her concluding statements to the jury, where she contended that Sean “Diddy” Combs leveraged his power, intimidation, and aggression to attain his objectives.

1. She stated, “He never accepts ‘no.’ ”

2. In her words, “He doesn’t give in to refusals.”

3. As she put it, “He doesn’t let rejections stand.”

4. According to her, “He persists even when met with a ‘no.'”

5. She explained, “He doesn’t back down from denials.”

1. “His domain was where everyone catered to him.”
2. “It was his realm; all were there to attend to him.”
3. “He ruled over a territory where everyone served him.”
4. “In his kingdom, everyone was at his beck and call.”
5. “His dominion was such that everyone was there to obey him.”
6. “He reigned over a place where everyone was there to fulfill his wishes.”

Slavik referenced the 2016 physical attack on Cassie Ventura, his former girlfriend at the time, as well as an alleged assault in 2024 involving a woman known as “Jane” during the court proceedings.

She explained that while these two occurrences happened eight years apart, they aren’t standalone events; rather, they are consecutive chapters in the same narrative. The tale she was referring to is the story of Sean Combs and the criminal organization he oversaw, which primarily consisted of his close associates.

Continuing her remarks, she pointed out that this criminal organization consistently catered to the defendant’s whims by employing a systematic approach involving threats, force, and psychological control. The defendant believed his status, riches, and influence would shield him from legal consequences, relying on secrecy and societal taboos to hide his misdeeds.

Slavik contended that during the trial, Combs benefited significantly from what he termed “an army of personal assistants.” These individuals were dedicated to fulfilling his needs, boosting his influence, safeguarding his image, and going to great lengths to do so regardless of the cost.

In their submission, the prosecution asked Judge Arun Subramanian to make adjustments to certain aspects of their arguments for attempted arson and kidnapping charges.

Despite Combs continuing to confront charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking (including accusations of kidnapping and arson), prosecutors have stated in their June 24 letter that they have eliminated instructions from these specific charges. This includes the removal of attempted kidnapping under both California and New York law, attempted arson under California law, as well as aiding and abetting sex trafficking.

As a devoted follower, I express my optimism that making the language simpler won’t just aid in streamlining the guidelines, but it should effectively eliminate any potential confusion as well.

Combs told Judge Subramanian that he will not take the stand during his sex trafficking trial.

The judge underlined that no matter what decision the rap mogul makes, neither the jury nor anyone else can infer or assume his guilt simply because he chose not to take the stand.

Combs clarified that the choice not to testify was “entirely” his own personal decision, after having discussed it with his team.

In terms of the matter at hand, I’ve given it careful consideration, and this is the path I’ve chosen – it’s mine to make.

Teny Garagos, Combs’ defense attorney, informed the judge that both their defense team and the prosecution anticipate spending “approximately four hours” each on their final remarks.

After Special Agent Joseph Cerciello from Homeland Security Investigations concluded his extensive testimony spanning several days on June 24, it’s now the defense’s turn to present their case. The defense team for Combs has stated that they won’t be calling any additional witnesses; instead, they will concentrate on the evidence already presented in court.

On June 23, as Ceriello testified, graphic videos, allegedly originating from Combs’ “warm-ups,” were presented to the jury and admitted as evidence. [This version uses simpler language to convey the same information.]

The special agent pointed out that they found 50 clearly marked videos dated from 2021 and 2022. During the trial, jurors watched two of these video files using individual headphones and screens.

In the voicemails left for his ex-chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, on June 23rd, Combs outlined a particular set of demands while residing at a hotel in November 2021. Among these requests were replenishing the supply of baby oil, an item he frequently needed for “freak offs.

He told Khorram, “Give me a call when you’re heading over,” and to someone else, he exclaimed, “I can’t believe I’m out! Stuff 20 bottles into it!” (Note: The second part is a colloquial expression that may be considered inappropriate or offensive by some)

In response to Khorram’s request to extend our stay at the hotel for another day, I said, “Alright. You can find the baby oil just outside our room door.

Through a group text conversation, it was revealed that his ex-employee had stated she was setting up an intravenous (IV) drip for both him and Jane. This IV drip was later mentioned in connection with at least one of his “freak off” recovery sessions.

She also made sure that there were Plan-B pills, an emergency contraceptive, in his nightstand.

The jurors were presented with a sequence of text conversations between Combs and Ventura. In these exchanges, the artist known as “Long Way 2 Go” openly discussed the impact her alleged mistreatment was having on her.

Following Combs’ query about whether Ventura, whom he had an on-again, off-again relationship with from 2007 to 2018, desired a pause in March 2017, she responded, “No. I simply don’t want to be mistreated for being strong-willed or any time. You make me feel insignificant.

In another instance, she further accused her ex of physically assaulting her.

Ventura wrote to him in May, “I bestow love upon you, but the moment I briefly look away, you spiral out of control. You violently pull me down the hallway by my hair. I am 30 years old. This isn’t playtime anymore. Last night, I felt like I was deceased, and it wasn’t happening to me because witnessing your radiance was so captivating.

Brendan Paul, who worked as Combs’ assistant from 2022 to 2024, testified that he bought illegal substances such as marijuana, 2C, cocaine, ketamine, and ecstasy for his boss on several occasions.

Paul explained that we’d contact the drug dealer via text messages, and then they would visit one of our homes. He added that he met these individuals either through text conversations or phone calls.

However, Paul vehemently denied being a “drug mule” for the rap mogul.

On June 18, Judge Subramanian suspended the court proceedings temporarily as one of the main jurors was absent due to sickness. It’s important to note that there were no sessions held on June 19, as it was observed as Juneteenth.

The judge announced that one of our jurors has taken ill and experienced dizziness, causing them to return home. We’ve been informed by their partner, which means they won’t be present. Since this juror belongs to the regular panel, it seems we must adjourn for today.

The judge acknowledged that it’s uncertain if the juror’s sudden spell of vertigo, marked by dizziness, nausea, headaches, and additional symptoms, is short-lived or a persistent condition. However, they plan to keep a close eye on the development.

Since the court wasn’t in session on June 19 due to Juneteenth, Judge Subramanian announced that the trial would pick up again on June 20, with a condensed schedule, lasting from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Immediately following Judge Subramanian’s decision to remove Juror No. 6 due to contradictory statements regarding their home address, another jury member could potentially be dismissed. This individual is under scrutiny for an apparent unauthorized discussion about the case with a previous workmate. The judge has summoned this person for questioning and requested their phone for examination, as reported by NBC News.

By the close of the court session on June 16, no final decision regarding the member’s termination had yet been reached.

On June 13, Kanye West showed up at a New York City courthouse to back up Combs. Notably known for his hit “Stronger,” Kanye spent approximately half an hour inside the building but did not step into the courtroom itself. The principal room was reserved for Combs’ family, legal team, and media, along with spectators who patiently queued for hours to secure a seat.

Jane remembered a disagreement that had occurred following her vacation to Las Vegas with another hip-hop artist and his spouse.

She stated that this situation resulted in observing intimate acts between individuals, which occurred when she requested the services of Anton, a sex worker frequently employed by her and Combs, during their travel. A crowd of people were present in the hotel room to witness these private activities.

Jane communicated to Geragos, Combs’ legal representative, that the rap tycoon felt agitated following the allegation that she had been present at another man’s “wild party.

During the 21st day of the Combs’ trial, assistant U.S. attorney Maurene Comey mentioned that her team intends to dismiss one juror out of the twelve.

She shared with Judge Subramanian before the jury entered the New York City courtroom, “We were hesitant to include this in our letter because it seemed to suggest a lack of honesty toward the court, which presents significant concerns for us.

Defense attorney Alexandra Shapiro, who mentioned that Juror No. 6 belongs to the Black jurors on the panel, requested a brief period, possibly one or two days, to compose a written response and review relevant legal precedents.

In response, Judge Subramanian stated that he would “delay making arrangements” concerning the juror until a decision has been reached.

Jane and Garagos engaged in a heated discussion on June 10, during which Garagos implied that the former was involved in exchanging sexual favors for high-end items.

Lawyer Geragos reviewed text exchanges from November 2021 between Jane and Combs, where it appeared that the witness was displeased because the business magnate was involved with other women. According to these messages, she inquired about whether Combs had given the other woman a Chanel handbag following their encounter.

Jane said that she didn’t get a Chanel purse from Combs, telling Garagos that she “got trauma.”

When the attorney asked what a Bottega bag was, she replied, “I’m sure you have one.”

And when Geragos asked how much the item costs, Jane asked, “How much does my body cost?”

Jane was granted a 10-minute break following the exchange.

Jane stated that by the year 2022, she thought Combs was someone who derived satisfaction from observing their partner engage in physical intimacy with another individual, following an investigation into their sexual relationship dynamics.

She explained that her research provided her with a deeper insight, and she wanted to explore thoroughly the factors contributing to their enjoyment of seeing their partner with other men.

The observer speculated that Combs’ repeated requests for “hotel stays,” strikingly similar to Ventura’s “strange encounters,” might stem from a curiosity about his own sexual orientation.

In simpler terms, she stated that individuals who are easily influenced (often referred to as ‘cucks’) might harbor a genuine interest they find embarrassing. Instead of exploring this interest themselves, they indirectly satisfy their curiosity through a female partner, without personally engaging in the activity itself.

Jane declared that she referred to Paul, an individual they frequently hired as an escort, as “Trifecta.” The reason behind this nickname was that she likened their sexual relationship to the impressive performance in basketball games by certain star players.

“I was Kobe Bryant and Paul was Shaq [O’Neil],” she told jurors. “Combs was Michael Jordan.”

She characterized Paul as “very kind,” pointing out that if she had to engage in intimate relations with escort services, “it was at least with someone who carried a positive, nurturing vibe.

Jane stated that the relationship between Combs and Khorram was a source of disagreement or conflict in her romantic involvement with the hip-hop magnate.

Jane mentioned that Khorram was usually by her side. She found it challenging in their relationship, and she felt that Khorram’s intense emotions towards her significantly impacted the way Sean behaved towards her.

On June 10, Judge Subramanian rejected a request for a mistrial made by Diddy’s legal team. In this motion, his lawyers claimed that Ventura and her friend Bryana Bongolan falsely stated that Diddy had dangled Bongolan over the 17th-floor balcony.

In their latest court filing, his legal team alleges that the prosecution acted unprofessionally and presented false testimony, which is known as misconduct.

The letter states that during this trial, the government has provided evidence which they either knew was deceptive or should have recognized as misleading regarding their claim that Mr. Combs put Bryana Bongolan over the balcony of Cassie Ventura’s apartment in September 2016. To prevent an unjust verdict in this case, the court is urged to declare a mistrial.

Jane alleged that the rap mogul had beaten her for hours June 2024.

Jane stated that she and Combs had a heated argument due to his association with a woman significantly younger than himself, an incident that reportedly caused Jane to label him as a “predator” and forcefully push his head against a marble kitchen counter.

According to the testimony, she claimed to have taken refuge in the main bedroom when Combs started forcefully breaking down the door. (Evidence was presented in the form of photos showing the damaged door.) She asserted that as she attempted to flee, the founder of Bad Boy Records kicked her on the back of her thigh, causing her to stumble.

She shared with the prosecution that he had her pinned down, applying a chokehold, lifting her off the ground, causing me to stand on my tiptoes due to difficulty breathing, and I struggled to break free from his grasp, attempting to escape.

Jane shared that she darted out of the house and concealed herself behind a nearby wall for around two hours, hoping he would depart, but he didn’t. She also mentioned that afterward, they headed back to his residence, where she huddled in the yard as Combs is said to have assaulted her.

As Jane explained in court, the dispute intensified when she claimed that Combs began hitting her repeatedly on the head. She further stated that he kicked her, verbally abused her, and continued to strike her.

She alleged that he told her that she was “trying to take him away from his kids and his family.”

She declared under oath that she replied, “No, I’m not. Please go away. Go away. Stop it,” but instead, he forcefully seized her by the arm and her hair, pulling her back towards the house, dragging her roughly by both her hair and arm.

Following the reported attack, Jane claimed she noticed two swellings about the size of golf balls on her forehead, along with a blackened eye.

In March 2023, Jane stated that agents from Homeland Security conducted a raid on her home, which was one of several properties owned by business magnate Dwayne Combs. She explained that during this incident, she reached out to Combs’ head of security to inform him about the situation.

In my professional opinion as a lifestyle advisor, I’d like to clarify an allegation made by Jane in late 2023. She claimed that a prominent figure had threatened to disclose intimate videos of them and share them with the father of her child. This disturbing claim was made public during that period.

As Jane and Combs’ relationship worsened, she claimed he justified sharing the videos by saying he had “nothing more to lose.” She later stated that it was a constant barrage of demanding phone calls.

She sent a message to Khorram regarding their encounter, and this conversation became part of the court records. In her messages, Jane mentioned that Combs was warning he would release the video where she claimed to be under heavy influence of drugs.

Additionally, she mentioned requiring some distance from Combs as she was attempting to deal with the emotional turmoil stemming from his actions.

Jane told the court that Khorram assured her that Combs would not use the footage.

In her testimony, Jane stated that certain aspects of Ventura’s November 2023 lawsuit, which eventually reached a settlement, were similar to her personal encounter with Combs.

She confided to the jury, “I felt close to losing consciousness, and it seems I actually did.” “Among several pages,” she emphasized, “there were vivid descriptions that mirrored my ordeal.

Hey Jane here! After immersing myself in those “hotel nights,” I found myself lost in the pages of my very own memoir. This experience sparked a conversation with Combs, which eventually led to some frank exchanges over text messages.

After seeing the evidence of Ventura’s lawsuit, she expressed her feelings as if she was reliving her own sexual trauma through reading it. She is distressed because it’s an exact match in terms of language, depicting drug-affected days and nights. You were aware that this might happen, you manipulated me, you made me lose my sense of reality.

The texts went on, expressing feelings of revulsion and a sense of being compelled into unwanted situations. They implied that you had caused me to question my own experiences with sexual abuse. I feel deeply violated. This was an act of sexual manipulation.

Later on, Combs covertly referred to Jane during a conversation, which he secretly recorded, and this audio became part of the court proceedings. In this discussion, he mentioned that “we did those actions” and emphasized “that moment” as when he required her “presence.

Jane, unaware that she was being taped, expressed feelings of nausea to Combs upon reviewing Ventura’s papers.

Jane mentioned that during her involvement in “Hotel Nights” with Combs and male companions, she frequently used ecstasy. However, on one particular night, she chose to abstain from using any drugs during a sexual encounter with three different men.

She stated that on the particular night in question, she was with several gentlemen. Later on, she felt unwell and vomited. Then, Sean appeared and expressed concern, saying, “Don’t worry, you’ll feel better now. Let’s step outside.

Jane said that at the end of the night, she felt “absolutely terrible.”

On the 18th day of this trial, I, as your lifestyle expert, found myself closely following the proceedings. On June 7th, Combs’ legal team submitted a motion for a mistrial. The reason? They accused Ventura and Bongolan of fabricating a story that painted Combs as having dangled Bongolan off the 17th-floor balcony. This alleged incident was never part of the original narrative, raising doubts about its veracity.

In simpler terms, lawyers representing Combs, whose request for a mistrial was rejected by Judge Subramanian, alleged that the prosecution acted unethically by presenting false testimony.

The letter states that during this trial, the government has provided evidence that was either untrue or they reasonably should have known it was false regarding their accusation against Mr. Combs, who allegedly hung Bryana Bongolan over the balcony of Cassie Ventura’s apartment in September 2016. To prevent an unfair verdict in this case, it is proposed that the court declares a mistrial.

The defense alleges that Bongolan fabricated details regarding the event, citing certain perceived discrepancies within her account. The prosecution is set to counter this on June 9, and the judge will announce his verdict the following day.

Jane stated that starting from April 2023, which marked the second year of their relationship, P. Diddy (the rap mogul) has been covering her home’s rent expenses. She disclosed that they had agreed a month earlier to grant her a regular financial assistance.

During that ‘hotel night,’ she recalled, was when Sean suggested a ‘love contract’ between us. In other words, it was him inquiring about the allowance amount I desired.” (The goal is to make the sentence easier to understand by replacing more formal language with simpler and clearer alternatives.)

month, just moving forward, that’s what he was going to do for me.”

As a lifestyle expert, I shared my desired allowance figure as 15,000, but he suggested 10,000. Nevertheless, I utilized that budget for my home search and found a larger, more spacious place that provides a sense of balance in our relationship. It’s not just a home for me and my child; it’s a sanctuary where we can both find comfort and enjoy the other’s contributions to our shared life.

Jane claimed, according to the contract, she was entitled to receive money “without any coercion or time constraints, for a period of two years.

Jane openly shared that she experienced frequent urinary tract and yeast infections almost every week due to extended periods of sexual activity. She revealed that she often took antibiotics regularly as a result. Additionally, she admitted to having sex before fully recuperating from her UTIs on some occasions, and also confessed to experiencing pelvic soreness during all the nights spent in hotels.

The witness further disclosed that she experienced discomfort in her shoulders and back during the sexual encounter. Moreover, she mentioned that she often found herself on the very edge of the chair or bed, adopting the positions he preferred for foreplay with these individuals.

In spite of the discomfort she felt, Jane chose not to inform Combs about it as she preferred not to convey any negative sentiments.

In my testimony, I asserted that the discomfort wasn’t confined solely to our private moments. I informed the jury that, upon his request, I had gotten my nipples pierced, as he claimed it would intensify his attraction and was something he desired from his partner.

She said she removed the piercings because they “snagged and bled and got infected.”

However, she testified that Combs was unhappy with her decision.

She claimed that initially, he seemed fine with the situation. However, as time passed, it became apparent that he was growing increasingly frustrated with the length of time it took for me to complete the task at hand.

Instead of saying, “She added, ‘He would say things like, ‘Where are my piercings? This is the last time I see you when you don’t have any piercings on.””

You could also write it as: “She mentioned that he often commented, ‘I can’t believe you’re not wearing your piercings today. This will be the last time I see you without them.'”.

In 2023, on my special birthday, I was astonished to find myself being coerced into spending an extended period at a hotel gathering, a so-called “hotel night,” against my heartfelt desires. This allegation casts a shadow over the events of that day.

Although he was reportedly told multiple times by her that she didn’t wish to participate, and the incident bore striking resemblance to Ventura’s experiences at “freak offs”, she claimed that he unexpectedly arranged for an ‘entertainer’ during their dinner instead.

The witness, who had been in a relationship with Combs from 2021 to 2024, stated that she had gotten dressed up for him. At our sushi dinner, I was overjoyed to be with my partner. He exuded such warmth, and then he expressed his eagerness to see the performer later on.

She went on to say, “I wasn’t prepared for this,” and then added, “When I asked, ‘Is this an entertainer?’ I was speechless. He replied, ‘It’s your birthday! Let’s celebrate.’ In the end, I simply agreed.

Hello there! As an advocate for holistic living, I’d like to share a powerful sentiment from my personal journey. Similar to the woman testifying, I found myself feeling distant from someone I thought was close, much like a stranger. This individual, who was supposed to be familiar, seemed unfathomably foreign. It’s a poignant reminder of how important it is to truly connect with those around us and not just coexist in the same space.

On my birthday, I didn’t feel up to doing anything special, so instead, I found myself on the couch, preparing for an unwanted sexual encounter with the intention of getting it over quickly. When I asked Sean for a condom, his reaction was far from acceptable. He gave me a disapproving look, almost as if he was shaking his head and telling me not to ask for one in such a manner.

Following the alleged incident where the rap magnate reportedly gave the escort birth control, “Jane” stated that he seemed very indifferent or unconcerned.

She stated that he departed, and during the entire incident, he appeared disheartened which greatly saddened her. All I desired was for it to conclude swiftly.

Jane claimed that the longest “uninterrupted hotel stay” occurred during New Year’s in 2022, lasting approximately 3 to 3.5 days. She suggested she would rely on “ecstasy, caffeine, water, and protein shakes” to remain awake throughout the extended all-night sexual encounter.
