Sebastian Bach Addresses Christina Applegate, Brad Pitt Love Triangle

Sebastian Bach is remembering his youth gone wild with Christina Applegate.

Following Mila Kunis’s claim in her memoir, You With the Sad Eyes, that she ended a relationship with Brad Pitt for Skid Row’s Sebastian, he has now addressed the recent media attention surrounding her statement.

Sebastian, 57, said he was shocked when the news came out, as he explained in a recent interview with Billboard published on March 12th. He described being a touring musician who met many people, and he apologized if he had hurt anyone in the past.

He explained that starting young in rock and roll is a wild ride, full of new people, and you need to be prepared. He compared it to a roller coaster, then added that it was a long time ago, and he’s sorry if he ever caused anyone pain.

His comments come after Christina, 54, shared a glimpse inside her short-lived romance with Brad.

Christina described their past relationship in her new book, released on March 3rd, saying they were friends for a long time. She remembered he would often visit her small house, and they’d have barbecues and spend time together, usually with other people around.

Christina and the Formula 1 driver were friends at first, but when she was 17 and he was 25, Christina began to develop romantic feelings for him.

“One day, I took another look at Brad and thought, ‘Hmm,” she explained. “Apparently he did the same.”

Shortly after that, the couple famously appeared together at the 1989 MTV Music Awards. Christina shared that she had first noticed the singer of “18 and Life” at that time.

Christina, mother to 15-year-old Sadie and wife of Martyn LeNoble, confessed that she felt incredibly confident after an awards show and ended up leaving with Sebastian Bach instead of Brad Pitt. She explained that Brad hadn’t yet become a major star at that time, and wasn’t the heartthrob he would later become.

It appears the night didn’t go well for the Fight Club actor. After the awards show, Brad drove Christina’s mother, Nancy Priddy, and Johnny Depp’s then-wife, Lori Allison, home, but Christina wasn’t with him. Following that, Brad and Christina avoided each other.

As Christina put it, “We didn’t talk for many years after that.”

The lawyer, who later admitted in her book that she never actually had a romantic relationship with Sebastian, says she and Brad are now on good terms.

She pointed out that we finally realized I had acted like a child. Even though he deserved better treatment, it was time to forgive my younger self for leaving him for the lead singer of Skid Row.

There’s absolutely no chance they’re getting back together. However, with all the recent interactions – birthday celebrations, affectionate hugs, and even a playful recreation of a romantic scene during a virtual reading of Fast Times at Ridgemont High – it feels like they’re intentionally teasing everyone who still hopes for a reunion.

It takes a certain level of confidence to playfully tease your ex on his own show. That’s exactly what Sarah did when she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s show to promote her new series, I Love You, America. She jokingly ribbed Jimmy about his wife, Molly Kimmel, calling her “cute,” “bright,” and “funny.” “It’s not fair!” Sarah quipped. “She gets the updated, more aware Jimmy. I only got the Man Show Jimmy.”

Honestly, some observers seemed more affected by this breakup than the people involved. When Anna—who is now married to Michael Barrett—learned that Chris Pratt was going to marry Katherine Schwarzenegger in 2019, she volunteered to perform the wedding ceremony. She even sent a gift when their daughter, Lyla, was born in August 2020. A source told TopMob News that Anna was “very supportive” and happy for her son, Jack, to have a little sister.

Their breakup could have easily led to disaster, but four years later, these HGTV stars are thriving. They’re successfully co-parenting their children, Taylor and Brayden, and continuing to renovate dilapidated houses into beautiful homes for others.

As Lenny Kravitz described it to Oprah Winfrey a few years ago, he and Lisa Bonet are more than just exes – they’re truly best friends! Even after all these years, and Lisa’s marriage to Jason Momoa (they split in 2020), we’ve all seen how beautifully they co-parent their daughter, Zoe Kravitz. It’s a testament to how positive relationships can evolve, and honestly, it’s inspiring to see them create such a happy, blended family. They really prove that it is possible to prioritize love and connection, even after a romantic relationship ends.

Since announcing their split in 2020, the Dancing With the Stars co-host and her former hockey player husband have consistently shown they remain friendly.

When Brooks Koepka announced he was engaged to Katrín Tanja Davíðsdóttir in December 2024, Julianne shared her congratulations online. She posted on Instagram, saying she was thrilled for the couple as they started this new phase of their lives and wished them a future filled with love, joy, and exciting experiences.

Several months later, the dancer, her ex-husband, and his pregnant fiancée all spent the day together at the lake. She shared a photo of the four of them, calling them “three cuties” and describing it as a special day.

After splitting up in 2015, the parents of Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel have managed to create a remarkably friendly co-parenting relationship. They continue to take vacations and celebrate holidays together, and Ben has publicly praised his ex-partner, calling her “an amazing mother” in a 2016 interview with TopMob News.

Nina and Ian dated for three years before breaking up in 2013, but they stayed friends. The following year, Nina began dating Nikki Reed and quickly became friends with her. Nina and Nikki became close after Nina and Nikki got married later that year.

The couple broke up in July 2016 after being together for five years. The singer later shared on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show the following October that she remained very close to her ex, saying he had been both a lover and a friend for a long time.

“We love each other,” she said. “That’s it.”

Okay, seriously, Pam and Jim? Still get me right in the feels! Even Mindy Kaling totally understands why we’re still hoping they’ll end up together, years after the show ended. She actually said that if she were just a viewer, she’d ship them too! But what’s even cuter is she admitted B.J. Novak – that’s Jim! – is practically family now, way more than just a friend. Like, she asked him to be a godfather to her kids! It’s just… everything I ever wanted, honestly. They’re soulmates, I know it!

After their divorce was finalized in 2011, the former couple easily continued to raise their son, Bronx. The Fall Out Boy singer has praised his ex-wife, calling her a fantastic mother.

It sounds like she’s moved on from their past relationship! The singer has mentioned they’re on good terms and remain friendly with his former partner, saying they have a positive connection.

Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter, who both starred in the show Dexter, first met while working on the set in 2006, and their relationship became romantic two years later. Although they later divorced in 2011, Jennifer has said they remained friendly and respectful towards each other.

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore are famously friendly exes, and their daughters – Rumer, Tallulah, and Scout – have helped them maintain that bond. So, it wasn’t surprising when they decided to spend the COVID-19 lockdown together in Idaho. Sounds like they even had some fun, maybe with a dance party!

I’ve always admired Jennifer Lopez, and I was really touched by something she shared a few years ago. Even after her divorce from Marc Anthony – the father of her twins, Max and Emme – she spoke so fondly of him. She was on Sunday Today in 2018 and talked about how Marc really boosted her confidence. He always told her she was a fantastic singer and encouraged her not to let anyone diminish that. She said she had so much respect for him, considering him one of the greatest singers ever, and it was just beautiful to hear her acknowledge his impact on her, even after everything.

Despite any personal struggles, the actress will always support her ex-husband and former Scream colleague. She described their divorce, eight years after it happened in 2010, as being relatively amicable, telling Bear Grylls on Running Wild, “It’s definitely one of the better divorces.” They’ve successfully co-parented their daughter, Coco, and maintain a good relationship.

Although their relationship ended in 2007, they still had great chemistry on screen when they starred together in the 2011 film Bad Teacher.

It was definitely hard at first when they separated back in 2013, but it’s amazing to see how far Peter and Jennie have come! I was so happy to hear Peter talk about their recent trip to Cancun in LaPalme Magazine. He said he really gets along with Jennie’s husband, Dave Abrams, and thinks he’s a wonderful person. They all vacationed together – it was so heartwarming! Peter explained that people enter your life for a reason, and relationships evolve. He emphasized that even though they’re no longer a couple, love doesn’t just disappear, and you can still care deeply for someone, even when you’re not together. It’s lovely to see them co-parenting and building a positive relationship for their three daughters, Luca, Lola, and Fiona, and that he’s getting along so well with Lily Anne Harrison, his fiancée!

Even though they unexpectedly separated in September 2012, the couple worked hard to appear supportive of each other for their children’s sake. In a 2014 interview with Howard Stern, she explained that she and Will remained very close friends and were successfully co-parenting. She didn’t view their ten-year marriage as a failure, believing that all relationships face challenges.

The Grammy-winning singer and her ex-husband, who officially divorced in January 2024, have maintained a friendly relationship while raising their son, Hayes. They even live only five minutes apart, making it easy to share parenting responsibilities.

“Our stops are really easy,” Maren told The Zoe Report in May 2025, “and we’ll have family dinners.”
