And who is Sebastian Stan‘s godmother? That’s one secret we just found out.

Anastasia Soare, who founded and runs Anastasia Beverly Hills, recently shared a surprising link to a former star of Gossip Girl.

She told ELLE magazine, in an interview released on January 15th, that she is his godmother. They both come from the same Romanian town, and she’s been friends with his mother since they were children in the fifth grade.

The 68-year-old beauty entrepreneur also spoke highly of the actor from Sharper, mentioning they’ve stayed close friends since leaving Constanta, Romania, many years ago.

Anastasia described him as a wonderful person and incredibly talented. She said she loves him and that while his mother lives in New York, they get to see each other whenever she visits.

Sebastian shares a close relationship with his mother, Georgeta Orlovsch, who immigrated with him from Romania to the United States in the 1990s. He demonstrated this bond by bringing her as his date to the 2025 Academy Awards, where he was nominated for an Oscar for his work in The Apprentice.

It feels unreal,” the 43-year-old said to TopMob News. “I’m incredibly happy to be here with her, because you never expect something like this to actually happen. Growing up, we all watched actors like Jack Nicholson, Al Pacino, and Denzel Washington on TV, so being here now is just amazing.”

He added, “It’s been a long time coming, but I had to have her here with me.”

For her part, Georgeta couldn’t help but praise her son on his big night.

Oh my gosh, he’s just incredible! He puts in so much effort, he absolutely deserves everything good that comes his way. Seriously, I’m bursting with pride! And let’s be real, he’s the most adorable person ever!

She was very proud of her son and all he had achieved, but there was one thing she didn’t agree with.

Sebastian explained that his partner was disappointed he hadn’t shaved. He mentioned she’d rather he didn’t have a beard, especially because he needed it for a different job he was doing.
