Julia Roberts definitely didn’t want to run away from this red carpet.
Notably, the leading actress of “Runaway Bride,” made a unique appearance at the 2025 Venice Film Festival accompanied by her special companion, husband Danny Moder. It was an infrequent public display for the couple who last graced a red carpet together in 2020.
The twin pair, Hazel and Phinnaeus (age 20) along with their older brother Henry (18), attended the Venice premiere on August 29 for director Luca Guadagnino’s new film titled “After the Hunt,” which stars Julia.
Julia, aged 57, changed her Luca-themed sweater for a long-sleeved, black dress adorned with a diamond pattern, complemented by large diamond earrings, a bracelet, and a ring. Danny, who is also 56, opted for a traditional black suit matched with a green and blue striped tie. In keeping with his role as a cinematographer, he recorded the events on his iPhone.
After sharing 23 years together, Julia expresses gratitude for Danny’s affection, particularly because she attributes her “vibrant appearance” to him.
In a conversation with British Vogue in 2024, she shared: “I’m blessed with good genes, I live a fulfilling life, and while this might sound like a jest, I genuinely hold this belief-the sentiment of a loving partner. I firmly believe that my spouse not only loves me but also cherishes me in a way that brings me profound happiness.
She felt particularly thankful that their paths crossed later in life, during the filming of her 2001 movie “The Mexican”.
Julia pointed out that a fortunate aspect in her professional and personal life is that her career success came at an early stage,” Julia said. “By the time she found herself with a partner and children who preferred to stay at home, she had already spent 18 years in her job.
She added, “I felt that I had the luxury. I didn’t have to pick one or the other.”
