Microsoft will be holding its biggest gaming event of the year, the Xbox Games Showcase, on June 7th, 2026. Because more of their games are now also available on PlayStation 5, viewers can anticipate seeing a look at titles that will also be released on PS5 during the livestream.
Microsoft announced on the Xbox Wire that the upcoming show will feature the first public demonstrations of gameplay and major announcements about new and upcoming games. This includes titles from Xbox Game Studios and partner developers worldwide, showcasing both well-known franchises and promising indie games.
Right after the livestream, we’ll share details about Gears of War: E-Day. While it hasn’t been officially announced for PS5 yet, after the successful release of Gears of War: Reloaded last year, we anticipate the new game will also be available on PS5.
The showcase will begin at the following times:
- North America: 10am PDT / 11am MDT / 12pm CDT / 1pm EDT
- UK/Ire: 6pm BST
- Europe: 7pm CEST / 8pm EEST
- Asia/Oceania: 2am (Mon) JST / 1am (Mon) AWST / 3am (Mon) AEST
The presentation will probably include updates on previously announced Xbox games coming to PS5, such as Forza Horizon 6, Halo: Campaign Evolved, and Fable. We also expect to hear about potential PS5 releases for new titles like Clockwork Revolution, though that hasn’t been officially confirmed yet.
If Sony follows its usual pattern, PlayStation will likely host a major “State of Play” livestream in late May, just a few weeks before Xbox’s event. These livestreams are typically large presentations featuring key announcements from both PlayStation Studios and other game developers.
