As a huge fan, I was so thrilled to see Selena Gomez share another peek into her wedding with Benny Blanco! This time, it was a sweet glimpse of her celebrating with her best friend, Taylor Swift, and it was timed perfectly with the release of Taylor’s new album, *The Life of a Showgirl*. It just felt like a special moment for both of them to share with us.

Selena wrote on Instagram on October 6th, celebrating “SHOWGIRL” and expressing her love for Taylor Swift, whom she’s known for nearly 20 years. She ended the post with “I love you @taylorswift forever and always.”

The actress from *Only Murders in the Building* shared two photos of herself with Taylor at her wedding, one of which showed them toasting with drinks. In the picture, Taylor wore a beautiful blush-colored dress that reached mid-calf. The dress had a fitted top and a full, floral-decorated skirt, and she styled her hair in an elaborate updo.

Taylor didn’t just have one outfit at her friend’s wedding! In another photo Selena shared, Taylor—who apparently gave a speech—hugged Selena while wearing a black dress without sleeves, featuring a ruffled detail in the front.

Selena Gomez, who sings “Hands to Myself,” shared a video of herself getting ready, showing off her glamorous look in front of a large mirror. Taylor Swift was there, sitting beside her, filming and admiring how stunning Selena looked in her veil.

Taylor Swift, known for her song “Anti-Hero,” questioned, “Are you serious?” before Selena exclaimed, “I can’t believe I’m wearing a veil! I’m so happy!”

Taylor was clearly amazed by her friend, exclaiming with disbelief and excitement, “Wow, look at you!” Selena responded with a laugh, saying, “It’s about time! I love it!”

This is just one of many important moments Taylor and Selena have shared together. Selena recently reminisced about how their friendship began in the late 2000s when she was dating Nick Jonas and Taylor was dating Joe Jonas.

Looking back, it was a really sweet time in our lives,” Selena shared on the Therapuss podcast on August 6th. “My friend and I often say the best part of those relationships was actually finding each other.

The 33-year-old mentioned that they’ve supported each other through tough times with past relationships, making their current connection even more special.

We became really close friends around that time, connecting over a difficult breakup, like many girls do. We’ve been there for each other through everything since then, and now, sixteen years later, we’re still close.
