When asked about any change in her viewpoint regarding beauty since she turned 30 earlier this year in January, the actress responded affirmatively by saying: ‘Indeed.’ or ‘Absolutely.’

I strongly believe that discussing the effort to improve oneself, rather than relying on makeup, is an important topic that I find fascinating.

Peltz went on to say, “I find it lovely that we all apply makeup and discuss it, yet I believe the reasoning behind it holds equal significance.

I wish more individuals view makeup as a tool for emphasizing their features instead of concealing or masking them. Back in my high school days, I often felt the urge to hide myself with makeup.

I hope people today see makeup less as a disguise and more as an enhancement. In high school, I used to feel like hiding behind makeup.

Apart from expressing her thoughts, Nicola has shared her views on social media, specifically addressing the negative aspects that are often prevalent on these platforms.

2022 found me expressing regret in an interview with Grazia, sharing that it’s truly disheartening to see less love, particularly online spaces, where connection and understanding should flourish.

‘I don’t understand the whole hating on other people’s Instagrams, but to each their own, I guess.’

At the age of 11, Nicola made her screen debut in the Christmas comedy film Deck The Halls (2006). 

Four years on, she assumed the character of Katara in The Last Airbender (2010), a role that received unfavorable reviews upon its initial theater release.

In 2014, she featured in the movie Transformers: Age of Extinction, and she also had a small role (voice-only) without credit in Transformers: The Last Knight.

In the film Holidate (released in 2020), Peltz collaborated with Emma Roberts, and they both took on acting roles as well as directing duties for the 2024 movie titled Lola.

She admitted to Grazia that the opportunity to direct wasn’t something she had intentionally pursued; instead, it came about unexpectedly. To be truthful, she found it quite terrifying because directing was an entirely new experience for her.

In addition to her acting work, Nicola also gained attention when she was reported to be in a romantic relationship with Brooklyn back in 2019.
