Selma Blair’s plus-one to the Oscars after-party stole everyone’s hearts.

After the 97th Academy Awards, which were hosted by Conan O’Brien at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre, a star from “Cruel Intentions” attended the Vanity Fair after-party on the red carpet with a companion. That’s right; she was accompanied by her service dog Scout, who drew a lot of attention and affection from many admiring celebrities.

At the March 2nd event, Selma – who has a 13-year-old son, Arthur Saint Bleick, with her former partner Jason Bleick – chose a strapless black gown adorned with sequins and a row of white flowers along the bodice’s edge. To amplify the glamour, she accessorized with a delicate diamond necklace, bracelet, and sheer black crosshatch pumps. As for her canine companion, he maintained his natural beauty with his gleaming golden-brown fur; however, Selma did attempt to attach a small black bow onto his collar as they walked the red carpet together.

After the festivities concluded, the actress from Hellboy reshared photos of several celebrities – among them Chrissy Teigen, Laverne Cox, and Michael Keaton. She even went so far as to kneel down to enjoy some quality moments with the well-known Scout.

The pair’s wonderful adventure takes place during the 52-year-old’s ongoing health struggles, which include multiple sclerosis (MS) diagnosis. However, since entering remission in 2021, Selma has been sharing optimistic updates about her journey towards healing.

Selma shared with TopMob News in November that she’s been feeling great overall. She admitted there are times when she needs to take a break, but her enthusiasm for various topics often makes rest challenging. However, she emphasized that she’s currently thriving well.

She expressed her joy about being part of this amazing group once more, even though there was a time when none of them were socializing much or feeling well.
