According to on-chain information from Arkham, it appears that a significant portion of SharpLink Gaming’s Ethereum holdings are being staked through Figment, a company offering liquid staking services, earning a yield of approximately 3.03% per year in SRR (Stable Reward Rate).
On June 13th, the prominent gaming company disclosed its acquisition of 176,271 ETH at a cost of $463 million. It then added an additional 12,207 ETH on June 24th. This latest purchase further expands its already substantial Ethereum holdings which are nearing half a billion dollars in value.
As institutional interest in cryptocurrency increases, SharpLink’s decision to focus on Ethereum adds more credibility to its standing within the crypto industry. Unlike many publicly traded companies that are primarily interested in Bitcoin, this gaming firm’s emphasis on Ethereum is a notable distinction in the altcoin market.
