Shocking! Marvel Unleashes New X-Men Series – A Universe Transformed!

A fresh batch of X-Men comic books is hitting the shelves as part of the “Age of Revelation” era. This new chapter coincides with the 30th anniversary of the “Age of Apocalypse,” and it aims to recapture some of that initial enchantment by offering a unique twist on the Marvel Universe. Unlike “Age of Apocalypse” which depicted a world under Apocalypse’s rule, “Age of Revelation” positions Doug Ramsey, Apocalypse’s heir, as the central figure. Last week marked the official unveiling of “Age of Revelation,” bringing with it a series of new comic titles replacing the previous X-Men lineup. Now, eager fans can discover the initial details for five of these upcoming “Age of Revelation” series.

Marvel has shared details about the creative teams and summaries for upcoming comic book series including Amazing X-Men, Binary, Laura Kinney: Sabretooth, Longshots, and World of Revelation. The prelude to the story arc starts with Age of Revelation #0, which will be available at select stores this week. The main storyline for Age of Revelation begins in October with Age of Revelation Overture #1, a one-shot written by Jed MacKay and illustrated by Ryan Stegman, who are also currently working on X-Men. The remaining five series in the Age of Revelation will all be released on October 8th.

Extraordinary X-Men represents a standout X-comic by Jed MacKay and Mahmud Asrar, introducing the group of X-Men spearheading the rebellion against Revelation.

Laura Kinney: Wolverine Reinvented is a fresh solo storyline penned by Stephanie Phillips and Giada Belviso, where Laura Kinney assumes the role of Sabretooth.

The cosmic epic Binary, featuring the enigmatic Phoenix, follows their journey for now shrouded in mystery.

Longshots delves into a distorted contest involving multiple characters, orchestrated by Mojo.

Lastly, Realm of Revelation is an anthology special issue that investigates the aftermath of Age of Revelation, focusing on the destiny of the Fantastic Four, the demise of the Young Avengers, and the gaze of Apocalypse within the broader Marvel Universe.

The Age of Revelation signifies a fresh normality that propels X-Men storytelling a decade ahead, with the world being remodeled according to the heir of Apocalypse – Doug Ramsey, also known as Revelation. After receiving a warm reception as part of Cyclops’ X-Men, Revelation embarked on an arduous mission given by Apocalypse: engineering a world where only the strongest thrive. With his mutant power of language elevated to unprecedented heights, Doug wields control over Earth itself through speech, transforming it into a utopia tailored for mutants. This seemingly perfect homeland for mutants, however, is founded upon a deceptive principle, spreading rapidly across the globe and ultimately eradicating human life until it stands as a sole sanctuary for mutants.
