DMM Games and Spike Chunsoft will release a physical version of SHUTEN ORDER for both the new Switch 2 and the original Switch in western regions in spring 2026, the companies revealed.
PM Studios will handle physical copies of the game in North America for both Switch and the new Switch 2. In Europe, Reef Entertainment will exclusively distribute physical copies for Switch 2. It appears the Switch 2 version will have the entire game directly on the game card.
You can currently download SHUTEN ORDER for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam. A physical copy is also available for Nintendo Switch in Japan.
Here is a brief overview of the game, via Spike Chunsoft:
SHUTEN ORDER is an adventure game that blends multiple genres, created by DMM GAMES and Tookyo Games. It was led by Kazutaka Kodaka, the creator of the popular Danganronpa series. The game offers a unique experience by combining five different gameplay styles, including stealth, action, horror, and a visual novel format with multiple points of view.
SHUTEN ORDER – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition offers improved performance with a frame rate that dynamically adjusts between 60 and 120 frames per second, whether you’re playing on your TV or in handheld mode. It also supports mouse control in any situation where that input method is available.
