Following the release of their horror game, *Cronos: The New Dawn*, Bloober Team announced they’re working on several new titles. These games will be developed under a new publishing label created by Bloober, but details are still limited. The announcement strongly hinted at these new games appearing on Nintendo Switch and potentially the upcoming Switch 2.
Bloober Team recently shared updates with investors, revealing four upcoming games under their new label, Broken Mirror Games. The first to launch will be *Layers of Fear: The Final Masterpiece Edition*, planned for release on the Switch 2 sometime later this year. Currently, only a digital version has been announced, so it’s unknown if a physical copy will be available.
Bloober Team is releasing a comprehensive version of the Layers of Fear series. This is likely a port of their 2023 game, which combined the original Layers of Fear, its expansions, and the sequel with some added content. While the first two games were previously available on Switch, this updated version wasn’t. It’s currently unknown if this new release will include any further additions. The name also nods to a 2016 bundle called *Layers of Fear: Masterpiece Edition*, which featured the original game and its *Inheritance* DLC.
Broken Mirror Games is releasing *I Hate This Place*, a survival horror game, on January 26, 2026. It will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, though a version for the potential Switch 2 hasn’t been confirmed. The game is based on the popular comic book series by Kyle Starks and Artyom Topilin, originally titled “F*ck This Place,” which began in 2022. The comic follows Trudy and Gabby as they fight to survive against monsters surrounding their new farmhouse. Currently, there are 10 issues collected in two volumes.
Bloober Team Has a Few Switch Games Planned
The details are still unclear for the next two games. The first, currently known as *Project F*, isn’t expected to be revealed until 2026. While the exact nature of the game is unknown, given Bloober Team’s past work, it’s probably a horror title. We don’t yet know what platforms it will be on or when it might be released.
There’s a second, unannounced game in development, currently known as *Project M*. It’s planned to be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Switch 2, with a reveal expected around 2026. While it’s believed to be a horror game, this hasn’t been officially confirmed.
Bloober Team recently launched *Cronos* on the Switch 2. There’s also growing speculation that the *Silent Hill 2* remake will soon be available on Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S, fueled by changes to the studio’s website suggesting more platform releases are planned. In addition, rumors indicate that the *Born from a Wish* DLC, originally added to later versions of the first *Silent Hill 2*, is currently in development. A reliable source claims an announcement is likely “sooner or later.” *Born from a Wish* features Maria before she meets James Sunderland, the main character of the core game, and the remake includes a nod to this chapter.
Broken Mirror is still developing the VR horror shooter, Star Trek: Infection, expected to release in 2025. Meanwhile, Bloober Team is now fully in production on a remake of the original Silent Hill game.
