All 40 Omamori Locations Guide (Omamori Collector Trophy) | Silent Hill f
Whale
You’ll discover this item while exploring a house in Ebisugaoka for the first time. Head upstairs to obtain the Bloody Key, which unlocks a room containing the Back Door Key. After that, go back downstairs and use the Back Door Key to access the location where the Omamori is hidden.
Effect: When using a restorative item, you will not be interrupted by normal attacks.
Cat
You’ll discover this during your initial visit to the Dark Shrine, while solving the Shrine Vault Ema puzzle. Simply interact with the special cat-shaped ema located on the far western side of the area to obtain it.
Effect: Greatly decreases the damage taken while dodging.
Pine
You can find the doctor’s house on your second trip to Ebisugaoka, located near the fields. To get inside, use the ladder around the back. Once you’re in, you’ll need to find the Drawer Key in a chest on the ground floor. Use that key to open the drawers on the upper floor.
Effect: Increases Max Health.
Spider
You’ll be able to get this during your second trip to Ebisugaoka. Head north from the fields to find Sennensugi Shrine. The key to Sakuko’s Mailbox is located just outside the shrine. With the key, return to Sakuko’s house and open the mailbox to claim the omamori.
Effect: Greatly decreases weapon durability consumption from performing Light Attacks.
Hawk
You can find this item during your second trip to the Otherworld. It’s located in the Corridors area, inside a chest in a room with an enemy. The room is east of the Sacred Door, which you’ll need to open as part of the story.
Effect: Greatly decreased Focus charging time.
Blessed Hand Mirror
Close to the Hokora after you open the Sacred Door, right before the next encounter.
You can find this unique Omamori in more than one place. Besides its initial location, it also shows up before certain boss fights when playing on Story Action difficulty. Later in the game, you’ll also be able to find it in the Shimizu Residence, even if you’re playing on Hard Action difficulty.
Good news for trophy hunters like me! You actually don’t *need* to collect every single Omamori to get the “Omamori Collector” trophy. So if you happen to miss one, don’t sweat it too much!
If you would normally die from an attack, this mirror will shatter instead, instantly restoring your health, sanity, and stamina.
Wolf
Okay, so I found out something cool! Tsuchiya Taiko’s locker at Ebisugaoka Middle School is in the northeastern room on the first floor, and the combination is 377. Even better, there’s a whole list of locker codes available if you need any others!
This effect adds extra damage when you use weapons that are durable. It only works on weapons that have a durability stat.
Bull
You can find the Omamori by returning to the eastern puzzle area of the Dark Shrine Worship Hall during your third visit to the Otherworld. Progress through the story as usual until you obtain the key from the Light Puzzle. After that, go back to the locker room, where you’ll now be able to access a previously locked room. The Omamori is located inside.
Effect: Greatly decreases Stamina consumed by Heavy and Charged Attacks.
Horse
You can find this Omamori on your fourth visit to Ebisugaoka, while heading towards Shu’s House. Walk past the pond and across the wooden bridge. Then, take the path to the right, and you’ll find a shrine where the Omamori is located.
Effect: Greatly decreases the amount of Stamina consumed when sprinting in fights.
Crow
Okay, so I finally finished that first ritual in the Dark Shrine, and now I can get this! After I was done, I headed back down to the first floor and found a metal door tucked away in the southwestern corner of the main hall. That’s where it is!
Effect: Slightly restores Health after defeating an enemy.
Suzuran
You’ll be able to get this during your fifth visit to Ebisugaoka. After heading northwest from Shu’s House, complete the battle that starts there. Then, go to the house on the left side of the path. Defeat the enemy that attacks, and check the area where it came from – you’ll find an Omamori in a crate there.
Effect: Perfect Dodges become easier to perform.
Cuckoo
After solving the Ominous Photo puzzle in the Shimizu Residence, you’ll be able to access a new area. Return to Shimizu Residence III using the doors with the calendars. As the video shows, a new section will open up on the east side of the residence. Follow the hallway to a room containing a desk covered in blood – you’ll find the Omamori there.
Effect: Greatly increases damage inflicted while in a near-death state.
Hound
You’ll find this item when you reach the first high point in the Treasure Hall, located within the Dark Shrine. After following the fox statues into the main hallway, open the first door on your right.
Effect: Slightly restores current Max Sanity after defeating enemies.
New Game+ Exclusive Omamori
Besides the Omamori you can find during a normal game, there are 4 special Omamori only available in New Game+. You’ll mostly find these hidden behind Inari-sama’s doors and inside her boxes – you’ll need the special brooch to open them. Here’s where to find them all!
Shrew Mole
You’ll find the next collectible on the Shrine Path when you first enter the Otherworld. Look near the twisted tree in the southeastern area – this section wasn’t available during your initial playthrough.
Effect: Dodging does not consume Stamina while in a near-death state.
Rabbit
You’ll find the box inside the classroom furthest to the west. It’s located outside the main school building. To get in, go to the south side of the classroom and climb through a window. Once inside, the box will be on a desk right in front of you.
If you perform a Perfect Dodge and immediately follow up with a Heavy Attack, you’ll unleash a strong Counter attack. Be aware that this Counter uses a significant amount of Stamina.
Swallow
You can find this item hidden in a quiet area at the south end of the Worship Hall. You’ll have to crawl through a small opening to get there. Once through, the entrance is south of your location. The Omamori itself is located near the desk inside that room.
Landing a counterattack without focusing an enemy deals extra damage. This bonus stacks up to five times, but the counter resets if you get hit.
Goat
You’ll find this item during your fourth visit to Ebisugaoka. Look for it on a bench inside the hut where you obtained the Gate Key. This time, the hut will be unlocked, which is different from your first time playing.
Effect: Take less damage when facing multiple enemies. Scales with the number of enemies.
Hokora Omamori Draw
Finally, you can obtain 23 unique Omamori by using Faith at any Hokora to activate the Draw Omamori feature.
This feature costs 300 Faith to start, and the price goes up by 100 Faith each time you use it. Luckily, you won’t get any repeats, meaning it will cost a total of 20,200 Faith to collect all the Omamori. This will likely take several playthroughs, but you’ll need multiple playthroughs to unlock all the game’s endings anyway.
Putting that aside, the Omamori you receive seems to be somewhat random. We don’t yet understand exactly how it works, but here’s what we’ve figured out so far about the system:
- The first two Omamori are always the Clam and Plum.
- Randomization doesn’t happen when you draw. That means, you can’t savescum your result by just reloading a save. You’ll need to reload and then make some progress in the game to change the result.
- Stronger Omamori seem to be reserved for later. As such, there’s likely some sort of internal tiering system for what Omamori you get and when.
With that said, let’s go over a full list of all of the 23 Hokora Omamori for further reference.
