Konami and Annapurna Interactive, along with developer Screen Burn Interactive, have announced that Silent Hill: Townfall will be released in 2026 on PlayStation 5 and PC. It will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Here are the latest details:
Fans are now getting their first in-depth look at this year’s installment of the classic psychological horror series, Silent Hill: Townfall. Developed by Screen Burn and published by Annapurna Interactive and Konami, this standalone horror game is set in the chilly, remote landscapes of Scotland. The game’s trailer has just been released, and players can now add it to their wishlists.
Following a first look in 2022, Silent Hill: Townfall is making headlines again with some unsettling new details. This latest installment in the Silent Hill series hopes to build on the psychological horror that fans know and love, while still focusing on the core themes of mystery, sadness, and loss.

You play as Simon Ordell, who returns to the island of St. Amelia to solve a mystery. He finds the town shrouded in fog, appearing deserted but strangely unsettling. Simon arrives with only the clothes on his back, an IV drip, and a wristband identifying him. Guided by faint radio signals he intercepted, he enters the town seeking answers about his connection to the place and its people. As he explores, pieces of a forgotten past begin to emerge.
I’m really excited about this game! You play as Simon, and it’s all through his eyes – you are him. It’s a lot about exploring, trying to avoid enemies, and just surviving with limited weapons. There’s this cool device called the CRTV, basically a portable TV, that you use to pick up weird signals, and it’s key to figuring things out. Getting around is super tense, fights are fast-paced and chaotic, and you solve puzzles that actually tell a story – a really unsettling one that keeps coming back to haunt you.
